While I'm only a noob when it comes to D&D, this game is actually pretty fun. I'm not very far into the game overall, so I can't really say too much, but it is quite a bit difficult on Balanced, at least for me.

This is honestly my favorite Bloons TD game. Huge fan of Adventure Time, and getting to play a TD game with both the monkeys and AT characters is pretty fun. Loads of different weapons and items from both series to collect and use. Plus, trying to clear maps on all difficulty levels is actually fairly challenging.

But one of the only things I dislike about this game (if not the only one) that's off the top of my head is that there's no co-op. This game happened after Bloons TD 6, which has 4-player co-op, so you would think this game would have at least 2-player co-op, but there's not. This is just a personal thing, though. The game is still fun solo.

It's a fun little Bloons-series game. Music is pretty good, and the one that plays when you're on your (or your friend(s) town screen (that is, when not playing any tracks) is surprisingly relaxing. Though, some/most of the easy squares are actually tough (though that might just be because I'm bad at this game, lol.)

Overall, Liberation Day is a pretty good third piece to the Sunrider story. Was honestly not expecting the ending to be as crazy as it was (especially that post-credits scene; Kayto's gonna have one heck of a time in The Captain's Return.) But compared to Mask of Arcadius, this game felt like there were fewer battles than the previous two chapters (First Arrival and Mask of Arcadius, respectively), even though there was roughly the same number as the other two (including side missions.) That's not necessarily a bad thing, though, since this game seems to have a larger emphasis on the story (albeit slightly), which I appreciate. And I'm glad to see more Star Wars references if only a few.

[Re]turn, on the other hand, was a unique experience, offering an alternate take on the game's second half. The "true" ending was pretty epic, but quite a bit graphic (in fact, most of this mode's endings are graphic, some more than others (I'm looking at you, Explosive Depressurization.)) But I can somewhat understand why players might have found this mode's true ending to be better than the game's canon pathway.

Early Access Review
It's still in Early Access, but this is one of the best idle games I've played. Having an actual story to follow is rare among idlers, but Darkzone does it well, even including voiced cutscenes (that you can go back and rewatch, if you wish.) And being able to open crates or create mods while the game runs through the main quests at the same time is helpful for people that choose to keep an eye on the game.

I've played very few visual novel games, but this is my favorite! It has so much emotion and feeling packed into one game! Sad moments, happy moments, fearful moments, you name it! And this game reminds me of Star Wars so much!

12/29/2022 EDIT: While I'm replaying it, I should probably update my review. Two and a half years, huh? Wow. Can't believe it's been that long already since I played through it the first time. So much feeling went into the game and the characters. And almost teared up at the Ryuvian Crown Jewel part of the game. Love in Space went all out with this game (haven't played much of Liberation Day, and still waiting on The Captain's Return), and while some scenes with Claude can be cringy, overall, it's really good (minus a grammatical error here and there.) I can without a doubt say that this is one of the best games I've ever played. Though I should warn that the game has at least two mature scenes, one involving a kinda-violent rescue of the main character and another showing one of the pilots showering while deep in thought (you'd think there'd be at least two or three showers on the ship per side, lol.)

This is one of the best games on Steam I've ever played, and I don't say that about just any game! It reminds me so much of Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy/2, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Odyssey! Heck, I've even noticed the artstyle is similar to that of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker/HD (at least, for the Mafia and Hat Kid/Bow Kid/Mustache Girl.)

This game has amazing music! (Wonderful, excellent, incredible, I can't express it enough, lol) A few of my favorite tracks include Rush Hour, Your Contract Has Expired, The Battle of Award 42, and Subcon Forest's theme.

With as much inspiration that was taken from the 3D Mario games, I feel right at home as a Mario fan when I'm controlling Hat Kid (even better, since I have the Many Jumps badge, which gives Hat Kid a Mario-like triple jump.) All of the controls feel so fluid and fleshed out that it's always enjoyable to jump and dive around as our little hat-wearing alien!

So far, I've only found one thing that I don't like about this game (I know, I have something I don't like from this incredible game), and that's the homing attack. I can't seem to get it to work sometimes, but that's okay.

So far, the only quirk I have with this game is that the "Crossroads" markers are too small. I wish they were larger so that I could more easily see what areas they lead to.

This is one of my favorite Star Wars games I have played, and although the graphics are a little dated (especially the cutscenes), it is filled to the brim with in-game lore! When it comes to a Star Wars single-player game, the more lore it has, the better (at least in my opinion.) Anyone who is a Star Wars fan needs to play this game at least once! And then play it again! Lol

I really like this game! Being able to take the role of a shopkeeper demonstrates a unique perspective, different from the usual RPGs and adventure games that involve a hero buying and selling to a shop. And it teaches very, VERY basic business concepts like surcharging and discounting, so this game might be good for a young child to play. But I wish that it had Steam Cloud functionality.
