People forget Helldivers 1 had 14 DLCs that added stuff that made the game great. Its only day 1 and people already complaining about missing upgrades, enemies and vehicles. If anything they'll just add it later in a DLC or update.

I'm more upset theres no THE WHALE body type or Brendan Frasier voice. (i've never watched The Whale.)

Pros: ok combat, graphics, ok early farming/crafting
Cons: bugs and server lag sometimes make combat not work, mid to late game farming/crafting is a really boring grind of grabbing resources,

As of writing this, another duping glitch was found which - of course - meant that all forms of trade (player trading, giving coin and trading post) are disabled. This is the 2nd time and the 1st time pissed off the playerbase pretty bad. Many MMOs have a rocky start but this one has been abysmal, since the game checks clientside instead of serverside there has been a giant amount of exploits that are comically bizarre and easy.
The gathering and crafting is fun until level 100 then it becomes a really really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ grindfest to 175 and 200. I'm on a low pop server so basically almost anytime I want I can go and do a big resource run and come out getting 90% of the nodes. If I were on a high pop server the grind would take months.
The hook of this game is PVP and warring companies fighting for territories, however theres no forced PVP, you can choose to unflag, which makes the game incredibly easy, theres no incentive really (10% xp bonus) to turn pvp on, especially after 60. Territories go into conflict from doing PVP quests in enemy factions, having the same obj for all factions makes it so it leads to small scale PVP fights in theory. However the meta quickly became zergs of people in one faction spamming PVP quests uncontested and declaring war. Theres no incentive to stop them because it can all be settled at the fort.

tl;dr
Starts fun, gathering + crafting grind makes you want to quit, uninspired very generic world, lore and enemies (most are zombies zzz), constant game breaking bugs and exploits make devs turn off crucial features like using certain weapons, auction house and trading. PVP is scheduled and boring.

Game is fun. Overall my neuro-vaults overflow with joy and content.
Pros:
-Fun
-Great Aesthetic
-Great Animations and Visuals
-Great Sound design
-Great Music
-Great Gameplay
-Entertaining writing and dialogue from the tech-priests (ie. [[[Error]]] Damn not found.)
-The game respects the atmosphere of 40k and fully brings it to life, theres a lot of flavor text from the tech-priest chatter, and choices available to you reflect the AM mindset such as self-flagellating to get rid of a Necron information virus, setting a ritual and praying for strength in the face of a giant data hologram of boss, and smashing Necron monuments/data slabs/murals
Cons:
-When awakening meter hits 100% you can't replay other missions and are force
into fighting the final boss and bosses in the same room instead of a stand alone
boss fight (not a big deal but you miss out on fighting bosses individually in their boss room)
-When game ends you can't continue character progression,
collect tech you're missing or find new units.
-No New Game +, but game invites you to play on harder difficulty
and/or ironman and permadeath modes.
-Turns are fast alraedy but if replaying I'd want animations to be spend up by 1.5x at least.
