Did not encounter many performance issues (I7-12700K/RTX3080) on medium settings @1440p/165Hz, and get around 30FPS, which, for a city builder can be OK (But only for this type of game).

Overall, the game is beautiful (even on medium settings), Many point from CS1 have been improved, the road building is almost perfect (Just waiting for MoveIt and Traffic Manager to complete the experience).

It's pretty easy to start playing, but the finer economy details might take some time to learn to use them to their full potential.

Obviously, the game needs to be optimized, and is missing some key features :

Bikes. I mean, that's pretty basic, but it's not here. (They already said it will be added in the future)
Mods are no longer available on the Workshop, and the Paradox Mods platform is not operational at launch, and currently has no release date.
The transportation buildings variety is a bit thin, but that might also be the leftovers of 8 Years of features and mods on CS1

Overall, would still recommend the game, as it will most likely be the best city builder there is once the performance issues are gone, and some content updates are released. And mods. I'm lost without my 20000 useless assets that I will maybe use someday and the QOL mods that will inevitably come out soon.

Buy it.

Just buy it, I spent 20 hours in the Beta alone, it is addictive to build and refine your outpost after watching other people run through it.

Plus, it's beautiful, runs perfectly, and you can play Co-op or solo. (And it works great on Steam Deck)

And you can try to raid you friends to tell them how bad they are at setting up traps so that's good I guess

Nope. Going back to BF4.

This pile of steaming garbage is not event a good Call of Duty, so imagine if it was a Battlefiel.. Oh.

Basically, they wanted to do a overly monetized battle royale, but realized that it would probably angered the fans and would not sell. So they released... this

A ton of fun destructible maps? Nope
Defined classes and roles to promote teamplay? Nope
A wide variety of guns and gadgets that you can customize? Eh, kinda, but don't expect variety, there ain't enough content for that
A scoreboard? Not even...
Squads? Yes. As long as you don't want to change squad or switch teams
Servers? Nope
Persistent lobbies where you don't matchmake every single round? Nope
Guns that shoot where you aim? Nope
A lot of really diverse and unique game modes? NOPE, I HOPE YOU LIKE CONQUEST BECAUSE WE PUT CONQUEST IN YOUR CONQUEST
Fun? Nope
Hotel? Trivago

Yeah, been with the franchise since BF2, and now here I am, wondering if I should refund this trash because I'm not even confident that waiting for it to be fixed is an option for this joke of a Battlefield.

So all hail Battlefailed 2042 and lets hope they learn their lesson for the next one (That is, if there is a next one. And given the fact that there is a "Year one pass" I'm really not confident, but hey, we get cool skins right? right? someone?)

UPDATE : Welp, the game works now so I can enjoy it and crash miserably trying to fly planes. Game is still beautiful, detailed, and does require a good computer (Upgraded from a 1080 to a 3080, already works works better)

So, it's recommended now

7 hours in, and I still haven't flown anything other than the tutorial, because it keeps crashing. (The game, not the planes)

Other than that, the game is beautiful, the planes are very detailed, and the live weather is awesome.

Oh, and it does require a pretty decent computer to play, because a GTX1080 and an I7 6700K sometimes have trouble keeping up.

Sooo yeah, negative review for now, will update once i'm able to crash planes and not the game.

Well damn.

We had to wait, but we FINALLY have a Star Wars game from EA that is :
- Playable
- Enjoyable
- Singleplayer
- Microtransaction Free

Add to that the fact that the game is beautiful, runs perfectly, has a good story and expands the star wars universe even further.

Oh, also, the music is Terribly good. and they've got a track by the HU (Go look them up).

Only negative points i see are that the game has an end, and the main character is.... there.

Not a game made for everyone, but definitely a solid game.

Nope. That is not a Wolfenstein game.

Rather, it is a Wolfenstein game, where dialogue and story are terrible and/or inexistant, where you cannot just turn any nazi you see into red mist in an instant. where enemies and you have a level, where weapon mods you would previously find in levels are now linked to coins you get in levels (?? really Bethesda?).

Oh and by the way, this game DOES include micro-transactions. FFS Bethesda, when will you learn? you're becoming more and more like EA.

RPG Elements are.... there. Very basic, very unoiriginal, but there....

The "open" world is basically some of Paris areas, but with Nazi stuff. Oh, and hope you like Fedex quests, because you're going to do a LOOOOT of back an forth in Paris.

Coop is OK, haven't had any problems on that side, but saw some people unable to play it, so, might have got lucky on that one.

Buddy pass system is nice, but WHY DOES THIS ♥♥♥♥ NEEDS A F-ING BETHESDA.NET ACCOUNT? You couldn't just use, I dunno, steam? its not like there is Cross-Play to justify it....

Gunplay is terrible. you cannot just use any weapon on any enemy anymore nooooo, you need a light armor gun for light armor and a heavy armor gun for heavy armored enemies. And don't you dare try to use the wrong type of weapon, you wouldn't do anything to the enemies.....

I only played Co-op, and i'm glad, since in solo mode you get a stupid, non-stealth, blank firing, unreviving, running straight to the enemy useless AI

The writings and characters? a cringefest. you had ONE Job. To make the Blaskowitz daughters into badass nazi-killing, punchline throwing machines. Instead we got cringy teens that are not sure of what they're doing here and keep repeating the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

All in all, dont. ever. buy. this. ♥♥♥♥. Wait for the next main one and hope for the best.

Well damn. That is one good game.

I'm taking my time playing it, so I haven't finished it for now, but damn. haven't had that much fun since probably Hotline Miami. Shoot stuff, blow stuff up, Bananas. Simple, yet effective.

And, as some people said in their review, It DOES feel like you're John Wick. and Deapool. John Pool? Dead Wick? Dunno, but its good.

This. game. is. awesome.

As i'm writing this review (On day 1), I've played the game for 6 hours, and It feels like the real stuff hasn't even started yet.

It looks good, It sound good, It runs perfectly, If you like Wolfenstein ( Or just killing nazis for that matter ), buy the game.

If you don't like Wolfenstein, First, what are you doing reading this, second, Buy the game, play it for a bit, you won't be disappointed.

11/10 So far.

Only negative point is, There is no Steam Overlay for now, but if that is stopping you from getting a game, don't play games.
