Early Access Review
I picked up this game not too long after release after seeing a few people playing it on twitch and watching a few youtube videos which peeked my interest.

I won't sugar coat anything and just get straight to my thoughts on the game, this is also from the perspective of starting out on an official server and playing along with a friend.

1. The start of the games tutorial is pretty quick and simple yet the moment you enter the world and its your mission to find a space to place a castle heart and start build your home you will find it very difficult to do, if your late to one of the servers it means those that joined early have managed to plant themselves a place leaving you to run around like a headless chicken looking for whatever empty spaces are left.

The problem with this is that your forced to run into higher level mobbed areas getting your ass kicked a few times and burnt from the sun to a point you really start hating the game and your have yet to really start your adventure.

2. The Sun is a pain in the ass, yes your a vampire, yes its going to hurt you but when your set out on your way across the map and get into a big fight with a boss and are unfortunate to find cover while dodging around becomes pretty obnoxious, (you can change this in offline play if you wish)

3. After finally finding a place to setup camp and building a beautiful castle alongside my friend things were going well, the aesthetics are beautiful you literally feel like Dracula, the way you have different floor types to help boost performance of your crafting machines is great and everything is going well.

You head out on trecks with your friend to hunt down the bosses to unlock more for your castle and everything seems to be going wonderful, you even get use to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sun burning your ass until....

One day you log back on to play your game and notice that your trapped in a small squared space with a door stopping you from leaving and as you look around everything around you as gone, some lovely neighbor as found a way to cheat on a PVE server and wipe your wonderful creation clean after some time of enjoying the game and seeing what was achieved so far after a rough start.

After this i started up an offline solo game, the game is beautiful, its fun farming materials and building yourself a luxurious home, the boss hunting is fun, I would highly recommend this game but not the online play, if your into PVP have at it, if your into PVE i would stay clear of online play, putting hours of work into creating something wonderful and having it taken from you will discourage you from touching V Rising.

But being able to experience this on my own as been wonderful.

If you chose to read this review and found it useful thank you, have a great day.

I have always loved seeing Souls like games being played but never truly gotten into them, I have even purchased dark souls games and haven't pushed myself into playing through them, heck I wasn't even sure if I was going to purchase Elden Ring but to be honest I am truly glad I did.

The open world experience with the tough encounters was golden, as frustrating as it was at times getting my ass handed to me over and over again... it felt extremely rewarding when finally destroying the boss, these types of games are not for everyone, if you break controllers and keyboards from hard fights definitely stay away lol.

I highly recommend this game even if your not an custom to these types of games, after hitting over half way on the achievements I couldn't help but push for that 100% and glad I did.

I have wanted this game to be released for the PC since it first came to the consoles and I have to say the wait was worth, I have been loving every minute of the game so far, I will throw out my idea of pros and cons from my experience in the game so far, I know I have only played 20+ hours into the game but i cant see my love for the game changing any time soon so here goes....

Pros

*Beautiful Scenery and open world map to explore, plenty of collectibles to discover.
*Awesome Combat system making it fun when tackling huge machines.
*Easy crafting design for giving your self extra inventory space for weapons, Items and outfits.
*Interesting weapon design for different situations, giving you multiple options and play style during your game-play.
*Immersive Story line with very interesting characters and dialogue making the game very enjoyable
*plenty of side quests which aid you in map exploration.
*Aloys Focus design allowing you to track machines routes, wild animals for crafting materials and also tracking npcs in primary and side quests during your playthrough.
*overall the game in my experience as very strong Tomb Raider(most recent 3 titles) & The Witcher 3 vibes.

Cons

*As the game as not been out for long my first few sessions of play had at least 2 crashes, I am not sure if this was addressed by the developer but on my last few times of playing for a good few hours at a time I no longer experienced them, may still be an issue for some but wasnt enough to stop me from loading back up and continuing.
*After looting Items from machines or animals there seems to be a slight issues with Aloys response to running or moving, at times I find she just stands still and refuses to move until I hit my shift key again, this may not be an issue for some, although doesn't seem like a big deal after having it happen often gets a little bothersome.
*Swimming in the game can be a pain in the backside, the overall feel is clunky at times the movement doesn't feel as fluent as one would like.

There's probably a lot more i could add but I will update this review later down the line, I do definitely Recommend this game its definitely worth the money spent!

On my list of all time favorites one of the very best batman games in my opinion, i have put hours into this beautiful game, the bat mobile that turns into a tank is wonderful, the attention to detail in the game is amazing, i sunk hours into finding all the little hidden trophies and also unlocking the ending for myself, i wont go into spoilers and as much as i would love to sit here and write paragraphs of what i feel as made this game so great, i am just gonna keep this one short and sweet, buy this game you wont regret your decision!

i guess the 536 negative responses are from those who never played the original and dont appreciate the hard work put into this much long awaited and wanted remake, this to me is a dream come true, something many have been wanting for years now, theres no words than can truly explain how amazing this remake is and i am very much looking forward to an RE3 remake.

10/10 recomend this game, be prepared to save as much of your ammo as possible ;)

Wow so many negative reviews, so far i have put around 20 hours of my time into the game, i have been focusing mainly on the collectibles of each area and not gone too wild on pushing the story content, i love the combat just as much as i did in shadow of mordor, there are alot more variety of orcs with fantastic personalities, i notice someone mentioned how they talk alot and its unskippable, i dont find this irritating at all, i think its fun that they run there mouths before and during the fights a lot more immersive, the only complaint for me is the loot crate system, kind of a pay to win ordeal i prefer to leave that ♥♥♥♥ alone and just play the game to earn my in game items, the online vendettas are fun they allow you to avenge an online players death with rewards if successful, theres alot to do and the environments are beautiful, the story so far as been awesome, i am looking forward to putting more time in over the next few days. so meh to all you negative ninnies lol

After giving this a bash hoping that it would take me back to the days of Road Rash 2, i have mixed feelings about it, it as the same road rage material in regards to beating your opponents with random weapons with a bit of violent street racing which to me is very satisfying but you arent just street racing for money trying to avoid obstacles and Police, your goal in Road Redemption is to chase down an assassin and whoop his ass, the game is well worth the 20 bucks but i would rather wait till the day they remake Road Rash 2 (if it every comes about), i also had a few crashing issues for some reason unknown to me stopping me from getting a further taste of the game.

Review Update

Hi Folks, so i have put many many hours into this amazing game, let me begin by saying, don't go into this game looking for crazy long cutscenes and lengthy story like the past MGS games, Kojima and the crew focus'd on gameplay for this title, but dont let that steer you away, i have been a long time fan of the series and yes the story content in the games made them what they are today but it makes a nice change having tons of stuff to do, in this game they implemented a cassette tape system with tons of dialogue, you can learn the story just by listening to them as you play through, and there are still many kick ass cutscenes to watch.

Phantom Pain has a lot to offer in way of gameplay, you have in total 50 story missions (some are an extreme difficulty of previous ones) and a total of 157 side op missions, such as extract blueprints or highly skilled soldiers, prisoner extraction, mine clearing and lots more different varieties, not only do you have all these missions and side ops but you have a Motherbase!, overtime with materials you extract and soldiers you fulton, you can expand your motherbase which will unlock more you can develop, such as weapons, items and outfits, for not only you but your soldiers also, at some point through your play you will be able to unlock customization, so you can change the colour of your motherbase and also customize your weapons.

During your play through you will notice you can have a choice of companions (buddies) that can aid you on your missions and side ops, Quiet (a sexy sniper :D), DD (a wolf), D-Horse and a D-Walker (a walker gear)

This game is definitely worth the money spent, and to those true fans and new players i believe you should give this game a shot.

I have personally put over 200 hours into Phantom Pain, currently pushing for 100% completion and 100% achievements, i have never really pushed for this sort of thing on any past games i have played but i adore this game so much i figured i would make it my first! :D
