บทวิจารณ์ระหว่างการพัฒนา
In Early Access, this game has potential, but also just enough flaws that I can't recommend buying it *yet*.

tl;dr:
Story OK. Combat made difficult by sticky enemies and lack of heals. Unnecessarily grindy.

Story - From what I've played so far, the story is *alright*. You play as [insert special race(?) here] which is looked down upon in [insert run down fantasy place here]. NPCs will regard you with the classic line "Your kind doesn't belong here." Dialogue is OK, a lot of repetition from passing NPCs. Cutscenes make the story just a little less lackluster.

Exploration - Exploration and in gameplay outside of combat in general feels sluggish. The world is very pretty and stylized, but the camera angle and movement of your character makes it somewhat difficult to enjoy. I often find myself falling off cliffs because I'm moving too quickly or just can't see the edge due to the camera. In a similar vein, enemies can be entirely obscured by the camera, leading to "sneak attacks" (if these were like Dark Souls hidden enemies it'd be one thing but I feel this is more a camera problem) that will likely obliterate your health. Scattered across areas are "Whispers" which I immediately mistook for something like bonfires, but the only piece they have in common is that they are a spawn point. You do not regain health by interacting, you do not level up at them, you do not even craft at them.

Looting - If there are supposed to be prompts explaining what some lootables are for, I have yet to see them. Across the different areas, there is various ground loot and resources which can be gathered with the axe, pickaxe, shovel, and fishing rod. With the last one being somewhat self explanatory, I have yet to use the materials gathered by the former three for *anything*. The biggest use I have found for ground loot is making health consumables. IF ground loot respawns, I have yet to figure out how consistent it is (or for that matter WHEN it even respawns).
Combat - From the opening, combat felt *rough*. Attacking and dodging requires stamina, stamina which you will quickly you as you cannot move away quickly enough from the enemies that have *LONG* multi-attacks. I found myself engaging in a sloppier version of what I did in Elden Ring, which is take off my armor, grab a sword, attack the enemy, and HOPE that I'm able to dodge. Occasionally my character will not dodge, even if I press the button multiple times, and even more often the enemies' attacks stick to me, so if I dodge they will do a full 180 on a move that already has a large attack radius. In addition, some enemies will dodge, some won't. Whether or not *all* enemies are capable of dodging, I have yet to see. It IS possible to parry enemies, but half the time it feels like it is a chance based thing as opposed to timing. To rub it in every time you die, your items suffer a durability loss. Pair this with a lack of consistent healing, combat progressively gets more irritating.

Healing - To my knowledge the only way you can regain health in this game is by eating food, which you have to craft. I stated previously that you don't regain health when interacting with a Whisper, so you may find yourself trudging through areas without food or health until you die.

My biggest gripe with this game is that it feels like I'm in a negative feedback loop. For example:

I head towards an area with no money (nothing to sell), no consumables, and damaged armor/weapons. I gather as many consumables I can and turn whatever I can find into food that is better than 10 hp over 10 seconds. I walk into a room and have to fight 3 enemies at once, killing one while using my consumables to try and fend off the others before losing the fight. I respawn with less durable weaponry and armor, having used my consumables AND looted all of the materials nearby that DON'T require me to pass enemies that kill me. I cannot go back to buy ingredients as I cannot afford them. I am forced to try and continue fighting the enemies that repeatedly kill me, eventually picking enough of them off to continue into another room, where I am greeted by 3 more enemies and thus the cycle starts again.

There is a grind factor to this game that is entirely unnecessary, as it drags out the gameplay and honestly makes me forget where I am going and whats happening in the story.

I enjoy this game and will likely continue to play it (or at least come back to it) but I can't completely recommend it for the price tag in its current, albeit early access, state.

Usually card games don't do much for me as they feel very slow and boring.

Slay the Spire is not that

Something about Slay the Spire makes me want to keep playing it.
- The animations are clean
- The RNG for the cards is not bad and provides for unique types of play
- You almost always want to play another game after you lose to a boss because after dying to it for the 14284th time you know how to do it now.

All in all, Slay the Spire is very addicting

After not playing the Witcher 3 until my friend pestered me for weeks to buy it, I am certainly glad I did. I am nowhere near completing the game and every time I play it something new happens. The world is vast and (depending on your system) the graphics are amazing. The story is rich and intriguing and keeps me playing.

I’m going to be honest and say that when I first bought Hollow Knight, I neglected it. I purchased it at full price of a measly $14, which is not the full worth of the game.

The first time I got stuck in Hollow Knight, I just turned off the game and returned to my older games that I liked, forgetting about it.

Recently, I just reinstalled it and played it all the way through, and my god was it amazing.

The art and the soundtrack go hand-in-hand, creating an amazing atmosphere for the game. Each enemy has its own attack pattern, all of them offering a new challenge, especially when paired with other enemies. The game makes you actually realize how important side objectives are, without giving spoilers I can say that if you want to not spend hours upon hours fighting the same boss, complete side things and get different charms, they make such a difference the farther you get into the game. All of the bosses are fun to fight (even though many of them took me thousands of tries). Pretty much everything in this game is great.

There is only one problem I have with Hollow Knight.

Its only $14 and not everyone has played it yet.
