Early-Access-Rezension
This game is short, but I knew that. The Devs wrote that in the Early Access Infotext already.
The Visuals are also breathtakingly gorgeous, one of the best examples of the 'Pixelart with modern shading and effects'-look
No, what I didn't like about this first look is the combat. It seems almost random, or at least not intuitive. There are a lot of different moves and possibilities and even after trying to 'get it' for 10 minutes I still couldn't consistently pull of most of the moves.
I'd say wait for the proper release and look over the Reviews again then. But right now this is a mixed bag.

Early-Access-Rezension
The gameplay and presentation are refined beyond what's expected. I loved uncovering the different mechanical quirks to master the gameplay. The only thing this Game needs is Content.
It's worth the price already, imo.
Once the game is out, I'd love to see was else can be done with this framework, like other playable characters or main weapons.

Short Game filled to the brim with love.
I was surprised to find that every line is voiced, and competently. The Characters are nothing to write home about and the mystery basically uncovers itself, but it's still a great game for a quiet afternoon.

Disco Elysium is a treat.
Every fiber of the game screams of inspiration, from beginning to end.
Every line feels like it's dripping in meaning and implications.
Every loose end ties up, and yet you are still left with lingering Questions.
Does it have flaws? For sure. The unintuitive Inventory comes to mind first.
But that doesn't diminish the fact that this is probably the most poetic game I've ever played.
It's a CRPG I could finally beat.
It's a treat.

After the lukewarm announcement of Orcs Must Die! 3, this is still the peak of the franchise and, in my opinion, genre.

Hearing the unconcered quips of the two MC's while bloody murder of their own making unfolds infront of them is easily the highlight of the game.

Grab a friend and cause havoc!

You already did the hardest part: Finding this hidden gem.
Now you just have to let it enchant you too.

Pay a price that's comfortable for you, but just know that this game's story and characters have come the closest to be described as "perfect" for me.

Less then the sum of its parts.

The Combat is tight, Music and SFX sound on-point and the story is... well it's presentable.
But it's the difficulty-management where this game really drops the ball.

Most of the time, this game is almost easy, but the bossfights swing so much on the other side of the difficulty-curve, it's like a brick wall.
And I don't mind hard games normally, but without so much as a warning, it just feels unfair.

Maybe it's just miscommunication, making the game seem less of a hard game then it actually was.
I mean, if not for the difficulty-spikes, the game would be great fun, but I can't recommend it if only half of it is fun.

Worth every penny.
It may not have the deepest Story or the most content, but it makes up for it with sheer gamefeel and replayability. Every new enemytype is a new challange and every enemy-combination has you rethink your strategy on the fly.
Even the first, "easiest" enemies can be a challenge later on, when you are more accustomed to the faster patterens of later enemies.

It's not too long, but it has the perfect length not to overstay it's welcome.

Early-Access-Rezension
Supergiants greatest game yet! If you liked any of thier previous work, chances are, you will like this too.
Bastions Gameplay-loop perfected;
Transistors Character-Driven Story applied to a whole mythos of Characters;
Pyres overall polish and Style cranked up to eleven with a fully voiced cast;

Still in early access and already worth the prizetag. And then some.
Edit: It came out and it's still as great and even better.

Never change, Supergiant!

I was never that big a fan of Devil May Cry. The Games felt clunky and just not as good as it's competitors (mostly Platinum Games' Titles).
But this game changed my mind around completely! Not only does it have the most stylish combat of all other Games I've played, but the Visuals make everything look breathtakingly beatiful (and violent).
Not to mention the Story, that has no right to be as good and satisfying as it is!

Capcom is on a roll lately and I'll be there every step(?) of the way.
