1) Buy 'Lossless Scaling' for 5 dollars here on Steam
2) Watch a quick, 5 minute tutorial on how to use it (Borderless fullscreen + limiting your fps, changing various options)
3) Buy this game ON SALE ONLY ($40 or less)
4) Realize you're going to mess up something on character creation
5) Definitely DON'T go to Nexus and install 'Early n' Cheap Art of Metamorphosis' to avoid scummy MTX
6) Enjoy the game for its great combat and exploration, ignore the atrocious storyline, voice acting, and NPC pop-in

Optional, 7) Give this game a negative review and urge Capcom to do better for both this game (fixes) and for Monster Hunter Wilds. No gaming experience should require THIS many steps in order to get a decent experience out of it.

God tier software. Made poor, unoptimized messes like Dragons Dogma 2 playable.

One of my favorite games from my childhood - I spent about an hour attempting to make it run relatively decently on my PC. It refused to no matter what the setting was. Something is definitely messed up with this game, and the performance is SERIOUSLY lacking.

Nvidia Drivers immediately updated after first encountering issues.

Uncertain what the issue was, I fiddled with settings for nearly an hour after arriving to the initial barricade scene in the mall, at the beginning of the game.

If Dragons Dogma 2 AND this Remake are a sign of what's to come for Monster Hunter Wilds - count me out of that purchase too. Despite being my second favorite series, only just behind Dark Souls, I'll pass if the performance is THIS poor. Such a shame from the creators of RE4's Remake which had wonderful performance on my same system. Refunding.

Absolutely solid game with amazing gunplay and an enjoyable gameplay loop. Can't wait to be a part of this game's progression - hat's off to everyone involved in this game.
