You're tearing me apart, Vincent!

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a point and click adventure by Valve.

Its the fourth game in the series after its controversial predecessor Counter-Strike: Source. It adds up on the story, clearing some of the great mysteries the earlier games set up and really enhances the gameplay with new mechanics like the Molotov function, two new characters called the CZ-75 and R8 Revolver and a lot of new puzzles in new landscapes.

While the Coop aspect tends to be shaky, especially when you don't bring a friend, its still great fun to play with others.

Valve also tends to update the game with new chapters and stories, so it always stays fresh.

Should you buy this when you just want to play the game casually?
No.

Should you buy this when you want to clear every single Heist on Death Wish and think you are pro?
Actually, yes.

Should you buy this at the normal price of 5 Euros/Dollars?
♥♥♥♥ no.

The AK/CAR Mod Pack features a few fairly decent mods for the, as the name implies, AK and CAR rifles. (Which are basically about 5 weapons), all of those mods are unlocked by achievements, some easy, some pretty meh to do. Once unlocked, you have an unlimited supply of these mods, so you don't have to draw them on Paydays (Screw you, RNG).
Although the mods themselves are pretty neat, the main part of the DLC is (for me and a lot of other people) the DMR Kit for all the weapons.
The DMR Kit is a "high risk - high reward" mod, which almost triples the normal damage of each of these weapons, but heavily decreases the ammo amount to a maximum of 60 bullets, which can be pretty dangerous when you have a lot of enemies in front of you.

If you think you can handle the low ammo cap, it is absolutely worth a use. The other mods are good for raising the weapon stats to a fair standard.
