You can see a lot of what other people think by reading through the reviews, so I'm not going to rehash what others think is good or bad about XCOM 2. All I'll say is this:

If you're prepared to mod the hell out of your game, XCOM 2 is already shaping up to be one of the greatest and broadest experiences you will ever have the privilege of housing in your library.

If you like games in their vanilla form, without many mods, and want a game with high replayability that doesn't involve changing a significant portion of the game to be more challenging / more fun, XCOM 2 will seriously let you down.
