A hollow shell of its former glory. Not worth it anymore, even for free.

Captures the feel of the first game and translates it flawlessly into 3D. The way it plays is inexplicably satisfying, the kind of frantic zen that reminds you of Helldivers, or the good old days of split screen coop games. Bottom line is, it's a lot of fun.

No improvements, tons of new bugs, and runs somehow worse than ever. Skip it.

A boring faction that adds very little to the game itself. While some of the content introduced with this update is great (especially for modders), the Tomb Kings feel like a soulless and generic mashup of boring units and repetitive campaigns,

Just trying to counter the bug reports and 'genderless' whining masquerading as reviews. Game core mechanics look good, game runs great, even on my ultrawide. A faithful adaptation of the tabletop, which is exactly what I'd hoped for.

It feels like XCOM, plays like the tabletop, and campaigns like MW4 Mercenaries. No idea how this still has such mixed reviews, but it deserves better.

Something like Dead Island crossed with L4D in an expansive open-world map. Really well executed, fun to play, and does coop remarkably well. The map is not only large, but deep, with many secluded areas that offer unique rewards and challenges. Once you've been there and done that, you'll start to venture into night-time excursions, which shake things up dramatically and offer more challenge. And that's not including expansion content.

-A wonderful game that should be a hit with any Dredmor fans, though no less enjoyable if you're new to turn-based dungeon crawlers.

-Many, many classes and races to unlock and combine, reminiscent of Conquest of Elysium in their diversity and unique mechanics.

-Not a roguelike; many of the challenges and areas are the same for each playthrough. That said, each class plays differently enough that it doesn't feel too samey.

-Pretty decent soundtrack.

-Abso-*******-lutely worth the 7 bucks.

By far the best VR gameplay available, and for free at that. Makes PD2 feel like an entirely new experience, and sets a high bar for all VR conversions to follow.

Shallow, but well executed. Fun with friends. Worth the buy.

-The classes are well divided and fun to use. Everyone brings something to the table. Everyone has a job.

-Maps are really cool to explore. The 'biomes' feel different enough to keep it interesting and the procedural generation is on point.

-Solo play, while mainly beside the point, is well executed. The support robot is responsive and legitimately useful.

- Developer response to host toxicity is appropriate; they're addressing the issues while not overreacing.

- The music is great. Very "Stranger Things".

-Overall, the whole thing feels like good old fashioned spelunking in minecraft (which was the best part).

It's like the first game, except with the loot system and content that you wished the first game had. The new enemies are just enough to make it interesting, and there're enough armored foes to make it a little less braindead than before. Crafting is better, with materials easier to come by, and at lower levels. The characters now each have 3 sub-classes and many talents that allow customization. Combat is about the same, but feels meatier and more kinetic.

It's just a good, solid sequel.
