This game is an emotional rollercoaster ride from start to finish. It's a beautifully designed game that will keep you breathless till the end.

The game starts relatively cheery even though you are a little boy stuck in a hospital as you search for a missing book and meet the residents of your floor. From there you discover a beautiful parallel world filled with little creatures called Leebles as you adventure to wake the guardian of the forest, Morizora, in order to have him fulfill a wish for you. Once you are halfway through the game, I'd recommend having a box of tissues nearby as the game starts tugging on your heartstrings. It gets heavy and emotional, but always trying to look at the brighter side.

The music is well thought out with the right types at the right time. With a beautiful melody you put together and a comical rap meets rock group called NO HOLDS BARD, the music is simply stunning.

This short little game is so beautifully designed, it can be hard to believe it's an RPG maker game. Laura Shigihara and her group did a fantastic job.

So if you're looking for a short game (I played it through twice and have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ all the achievements on the second run), with beautiful design that is a touching and heartfelt story, then look no further than Rakuen.
