Game is still a little buggy but they have been patching it regularly.

The class system is STILL there unlike what most reviews say. The only difference is it's been revamped to allow you to fully customize it to your liking. If you want to play the assault class with an SMG instead of an assault riffle, go ahead. You can also design your own class. I personally play medic with a sniper and anti-tank rocket so I can finally do more than just stand around waiting for people to get downed.

The operators each have a unique ability that makes stand out from the rest, and can use any of the classes freely. The maps are fairly well designed.

There is a lack of weapon diversity (not a problem for me but can be for others) and the community is a toxic pool of people crying because the game is different but in my opinion this is the best battlefield released to date. The flexibility of the class system, the personalization of your operator, and the lack of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanics are a breath of fresh air compared to the previous games that were just re-cloned and re-skinned.

TLDR: **THIS GAME IS ABANDONNED**

Bought this game because it looked super promising. Looked into the dev's history and they have a history of just abandoning games. I thought this game would be the exception because they were very active in the discord server. Nope.

Great music, great story! The lore was well built too. The ending was by far the best of any story game. Had me in tears.

Early Access Review
**Don't be fooled by the early access tag on this game, it feels very much complete at it's current stage. **

The visuals are gorgeous, the lofi music is surprisingly soothing, even in the middle of a high stress fight. It's very hard to get frustrated with the game because of combination of visuals and music.

Combat is excellent. Just easy enough for casual players to get a decent grasp on it, but at the same time it has a high skill cap and keeps things challenging enough to really make it satisfying when you successfully land a perfect attack/parry/dodge. Easy to learn, hard to master

Those of you who, like me, are into a good narrative based on character relationships, this game has a very good narrative. Each character has their own story, and there's a fair amount of background to each of them.

There is also an incredible variety of weapons and spells. Every single one has a very different feel to them.

Fantastic game with charming visuals. The story is almost exclusively communicated through NPC dialogues and bits of lore scattered through the world in an effective way.

The only lasting impression this game is "eh". It looks good and plays well but isn't particularily challenging or all that fun to play. The end of level cutscenes break the pace by repeating the same 30 second cutscene *every single time* and makes it hard to get into that groove that makes you want to sit at a game for hours until you've had your fill. I can't really play it for more than an hour before I get fed up. Bullets tend to blend in with the environments too, and having them go through walls make them even harder to spot when they're the same color as 90% of the environment and background. Bosses aren't all that hard either, They're fairly easy to beat in one try. Overall it's just kind of a "meh" experience.

The good news is they did add a feature to unlock the mouse cursor by using the
"-MouseMode=FreeAim" launch option.

I always find myself coming back to Terraria after a few months and just replaying the whole thing all over again. It's always fun and challenging.
