It is very simple, fun, and free! It's the perfect amount amount of difficulty. I would definitely recommend this game to other people. SO FUN.

Early Access Review
Very fun, underrated roguelike. Nice feeling of run-progressing upgrades, items, enhancements, weapons, and overall power curve, while still having that feeling of, "I could win a run with my starter gear if I became a pro at this game."
-Meta-progress is fully optional side-grades, unlocks, and features rather than simple powerups.
-Runtimes of 20-60 minutes hits the sweet spot (IMO) for dropping into a run.
-Customizable difficulty for everything from learning the ropes to a decent 'ascension' type system. Also a few options for total overhauls of game feel: More tactical solo Rainbow 6 style, or arcade mode run & gun.
-Co-op, in-game community, and modding.

I put many hours into Synthetik and though I dont have as much time these days I love the way the devs just moved forward with a fresh start, but along the same trajectory with Synthetik 2. Very appreciated pacing of new content, features, and fixes, as this game comes to fruition and begins to finally surpass its predecessor in almost every way (IMO)...

Early Access Review
A roguelike full of infinitely interesting ways to kill critters and yourself. An impossibly huge world, limited only by your RAM and patience. And developers that seem to love this game as much as the biggest fan, because they wake up seemingly every day to patch in fun and unique content. Unafraid to let you break their game with your most creatively insane combo, mod support right from day 1 (practically), and taking direct feedback from the community makes Nolla the most involved and cool team I've ever experienced in Early Access.

Hours and hours and hours of content, and more added every week than I even have time to experience. Huge value. Super fun, and a must buy if you love truly old school inspired Rogue elements mixed with endless possibility to create a unique experience every time you dive in.

This game was the very first to offer an experience of on the fly piloting of multiple craft as a soldier.
Add to that a polished reference to the real time strategy genre with meaningful resource nodes, command structure, and research tree that has never been gimmicky, and adds enormously to the fun of this game.

Sometimes it can feel lonely, or tedious, or confusing....
But that's because the awesome maps are huge, the game is deep, and a single soldier on this battlefiield is more meaningful than in any other game period.
