I am not smart enough for this game. I am still enjoying myself very, very much. Sending all-caps cries of anguish with out of context woes to friends about this game is also very rewarding.

I'm really, really bad at this game because I get way too attached to my starting team - but I'm learnig what eggs to break and such.

It is going to absorb my entire weekend if I'm left unattended, and I'm not sorry about that.

If you like to make number go up, this is absolutely that.

Fun without being too easy, pretty without being too much of a computer hog. Its just really relaxing to make a nice enclosure for your animals and take care of them.

Its just fun - I don't need it to be ""like pokemon"" or ""pokemon with guns"" -- the gameplay is fun, I like the critters, I adore the base-building, and I enjoy playing it. I don't think a game needs to be anything more than just fun.

You're probably going to need to keep a list of what books you've read/not read, come up with a system for organising them in the rooms, and honestly, click everything. Some bits are a bit vague, but a quick look online soon clears up the how-to on some processes. I've currently got about 110 books in my library, read about 50% of them, and only opened about a third of the house, so this is going to keep me busy for a while!

Like the Sims, but without those annoying Sims to get in your way. Very addictive.

Pretty, nice and calming. Feels a bit like a mobile game in a good way, in that its easy to pick up, put down, and has a few things to unlock along the way.

Easy enough to get into if you've played similar things like Gnomoria - has WAY more detail though. Absolutely blew through my first 3 hours with a practise fort to make sure I knew where all the buttons were, and going to give a proper try later.

I think the best tip is to take it slow, really plan out where all your floors and workshops are going to be, and be prepared to have fun losing it all!
