At uni on a course about game testing we had a task to play and review a game with a mixed or worse rating. This is said review.

Starward is a pay to win mobile port of a pvp action gacha game with very lacking support for English interface. The whole game is in Chinese until you manage to navigate the forced tutorial and find the language selection from the menu. I recommend you use a camera based translator to find these if you for some odd reason want to suffer with these beautiful waifus.

This review is based on my limited time with the game but even during that time it was obvious that the game is really heavily trying to get the user to pay for more gacha pulls. The problem being all prices are in CNY and I didn't even want to try if payment was even possible without a Chinese payment method.

Gameplay was rather basic with mobile oriented control scheme and mixed button prompts between my controller and keyboard. Sometimes the game realized that it should be showing which controller buttons to press and sometimes just the keyboard keys. Combat has autoaim and is obvoisly designed for mobile users. menus can't be navigated natively with a controller. The controller stick operates a cursor and some menus require a swipe like action to be performed with your mouse/stick.

Music and visuals are rather good and it is a shame that they are packaged with a game this poorly made for a PC audience. If this game was properly ported and didn't include any microtransactions it would be a decent game to spend some time on breaks.

Definitely worth the money! Now with 4 player local coop!

Teamwork focused military simulation fps from the creators of the BF2 mod project reality. The game modes are similar if you have played battlefield games in the past but with more realistic features. Squad doesn't hold you from the hand and even if you play the tutorial first there are lots of things you will learn from old players. How much fun you will have depends highly on your squad, team and the server you are playing on. The best fun comes with a group of friends you can trash talk with on discord while playing. Microphone is an essential thing to have.

Hyvää halon hakkaamista ja hintaansa nähden todella edullinen. Kyllähän noista huomaa että konsoliportteja ovat, mutta vain huomaa. Ei se haitaksi tule alieneiden räiskimisessä. Co-op on erittäin nautinnollista ja kampanjoita riittää ainakin 7:n pelin verran.

Great space ship building game with mining and resource management. Not perfect but good. All DLC is optional and they are more of a way to support the devs than actual content. Space engineers shines with friends and exploring the solar system, but for example combat in space is lacking in depth. Mods can help with some of the things the game isn't perfect with but the quality of mods isn't that high.

Great game to play with friends. Endless fun and there is enough challenge to not be too easy.

(I haven't completed the story yet.) A must buy when you get a VR headset. Gameplay is intuitive and immersive. Played on HTC Vive and a few button combinations are not designed for the controllers and holding on to them can be difficult. Also it feels like more resolution would help long distance aiming.

Excellent music and good gameplay.

Good time sink for a free game.
