Make aliens go BOOM !

IMO, a great improvement over Everspace 1 simply by shifting to an RPG approach.

- Game runs very well and is beautiful, world crafting is well done and the campaign (while very conventional in its story-telling) does the job.
- Ship handling and dog fights are a blast with very different approaches depending on your ship choice and gameplay preference.
- Secret finding is a bit redundant but getting all those "100%" on the map tickles the completionist urge.
- End game rifting is okay but doesn't add that much replay value.

All in all, this is the perfect Freelancer itch-scratcher that I never thought I would find with RockFish productions.
Very much worth the buy, can't wait for the x-pac content!

Overall a very good experience, preparing to deal with the final boss after roughly 100h taking our time.

From what i've seen, this early access is choke-full of content with fewer bugs than expected and a seemingly huge map.
In a nutshell, a nice change from what we're used to even from "gold status" games (looking at you CP2077).

Low textures are surprisingly easy to forget once you get a good feel of the atmosphere.

As usual with this genre, co-op with friends is the best experience.
I would also recommend discovering the game by yourself as it is quite easy to grasp.
Reading how-to's and resources online will definitely give it a different taste.

Warning: You'll WILL go for an extra expedition instead of going to bed, and you will regret it.
But in my book that's proof the game is worth at least a try.
