It's not as bad as everyone says - sure it's a bit slimmed down and shouldn't have been released without a proper scoreboard, suppression system, and a few other staples, but the gameplay is still very Battlefield-esque.

Portal system is awesome, playing old BF games (hello BC2) is hella fun and hits those 'member berries hard. The attachment system is super useful and lets you adapt to situations quickly without necessarily having to switch loadouts.

People complain about "big empty maps" but hasn't that always been the battlefield experience? Conquest is meant to feel like a warzone, and most real life locations are going to have big empty fields and deserts. Small tweaks could even help with this, like being more generous with ATV spawns.

If it goes on sale and you like battlefield, pick it up. I don't think you'll regret it.
