It's Monster Train but more and better. Honestly pretty much the ideal sequel

It's actually good and is a pretty fun gacha. Much like the first game the story starts pretty slow but then quickly picks up.

While the turn-based gameplay is very similar to XCOM I wouldn't come into this expecting anything like XCOM, it's really not with the strategy layer gone and characters power level much higher it's quite different, but worth a shot if you like that sort of thing.

I've played this game for a long time, and I've steadily watched it get worse mechanically and rise and fall narratively. It's gotten bad enough for both that I wouldn't play it for free, never mind a monthly fee to play. I hope it improves, but I've no faith in the team to even acknowledge there's an issue, never mind take steps to fix it. It's embarrassing the state it's in.

SDI has yet to miss. I believe they may be literally incapable of it.

obscenely priced, and at the moment severely lacking in a number of ways. I'm not shocked that the game launched without a campaign because as of right now I can't imagine the AI actually working well enough for a campaign. I'd feel a lot more confident if this game was marked as early access, but right now I have to assume that every meaningful addition is going to be paywalled to justify that $130 edition. Maybe in two years there will be some post release support to judge and the AI will not be useless, but I'd certainly wait till then before paying over 100 bucks on a maybe.

If you have friends to play or don't mind getting into pickup games where the game can be excruciating if the other player wants to be annoying it might be worth the price of admission, but otherwise I wouldn't get anywhere near this unless you're a huge sins fan and don't mind that the game is basically just that again.

I'll be honest, I don't know why *this* specific minor inconvenience pissed everyone off so much, but I'm for not stupid extra hoops to jump through and the game is good so I'm glad it's not getting worse.

Now can we pick something much worse to get mad at? How about selling full priced unfinished games and then selling the fixes as DLC later or something? Paradox is right over there *and* they also have an extra extraneous account you need to log in with

The campaign is genuinely one of the worst I've ever played. The skirmish modes are a lot better, as you don't constantly have enemies spawning behind you and some extremely questionable mission objectives. From a value perspective if you are only interested in the campaign do *not* buy this game, it is a downright unpleasant 8~ hours. If you're more interested in skirmish/multiplayer and for some reason you're unwilling to just play dawn of war or really love AoS... it's fine on sale.

This game is actually really good. Highly recommend, but I do wish you could get a second camera. Try this one out for sure
