Overwatch 2 - A Game That Has Always Been Among My Favorites (2522 Hours Spent in Front of the Screen, I Probably Should Start Going Outside). This game holds a special place in my heart, which makes it incredibly disheartening to witness the extent of corporate greed it has fallen victim to.

When it comes to the game itself and its gameplay mechanics, I have absolutely no complaints. Overwatch 2 continues to offer a fantastic team-based experience, a diverse cast of heroes, and an immersive world. In terms of gameplay experience, Overwatch 2 still excels.

BUT - Blizzard, particularly its CEO Bobby Kotick, has chosen to turn Overwatch 2 into something that feels more like a "cash grab game" than a passionately crafted game for fans. It's crucial to note that the developers of Overwatch 2 are not at fault. I believe they are passionate about their work and are striving to create the best game possible. The blame lies more with the company's leadership, which appears to be focused solely on profits and dividends for shareholders. This is a significant disappointment for me, especially in the context of a game I once loved so much.

Overall, Overwatch 2 still offers a great gaming experience that I enjoy. However, it's disheartening to see one of my favorite games become a victim of corporate greed. We can only hope that with Microsoft's acquisition of Blizzard, there will be someone in leadership who prioritizes players and the community. (Of course, free-to-play games need to make money, but there are certainly better and less drastic options than $20 for one skin...)

+ A plenty of heroes with a wide range of abilities.
+ Visual design (at least Blizzard still excels in this).
+ Community (with a few exceptions).
+ Gameplay.
+ PvE - cutscenes, finally a step forward in the story.

Cons:

- Battle Pass - currently lacking customizations of Mythic skins, the price is acceptable, but the option to
earn coins for the next Battle Pass is missing, a feature present in many other games.
- Shop - prices for skins are exorbitant.
- Introduction of new systems that don't make sense - Competitive mode with the requirement of 5 wins or
15 losses just to find out that you haven't moved anywhere. UPDATE - they will likely revert to the old
system from Overwatch 1 where you can see your SR movement immediately after a match.
- PvE - The cost can be steep for some, especially if they aren't interested in purchasing the Battle Pass. You
get to play each mission once, and that's it. With randoms on higher difficulty, it becomes nearly
impossible.
