Best game I've played in a long long time.

Just for clarification, this review has not been bought, it has been earned.

There aren't too many games out there that are like Warlord: Britannia. Though this game is very bare in it's current state, the road map that the developer (single dev team) has posted looks very promising. I do agree that there needs to be some QoL things added (easier way to promote or upgrade when army in encamped, choosing who gets guard/ builder duty, commanding singular centuries) but there is a great foundation here. I can tell that the developer has spent time combing through history books and videos trying to perfect the Roman gear and what it would have roughly looked like in that time.

Overall, this game has greats bones it just needs to be built upon. So far, I have experienced no crashes and the game has ran fine. I have only encountered one bug and it was simply fixed by saving and restarting the game. If you like Roman history and a little bit of front line fighting, get this game.

TLDR: the game has great bones and gear design. The game lacks content but the development road map looks promising if content is pushed at a decent rate.

Great game overall. I'm glad they added mod support again as it really breathes life into this game after you have fixed and rebuilt all of the base game vehicles. I really love the new customization in the game and the mini-games that have been added. This is a much more refined and polished version of Car Mechanic Sim 2018.

Love it! I personally think that there needs to be some more content added and also some more things to make the tavern feel alive. However, with what is already in the game, it's quite fun and you can tell that the single developer really loved making this game.

This has been a wonderful game and it's had one hell of a comeback. The launch was rough but over the past year or so CD:PR has done a great job patching out the bugs and increasing the overall stability of the game. It even work on my Steam Deck now which is great.

Fantastic game. This is great if you would like to relax. The soundtrack is great as well. 10/10.

A big improvement from the first game. I have enjoyed the campaigns thus far.

Got this game to work once. When it did, the game lacked content and my family dies within a couple days for no reason. Do not spend any money on this game.
