Tried to play. Got to "create a profile" immediately. Submitted profile. Unknown error. Can't even get to the main menu. Actually unplayable. Do not buy this game.

Game no longer launches on Windows 11. There's a lot of discussion online about this issue, and no general fix has been found, nor has a patch been released. Don't spend your money on a game you can't play.

This game is a really neat exploration of the 4th dimension - and a really bad mini golf game. The game absolutely skyrockets in difficulty after the first couple of courses. The golf physics feel so strange - you bounce WAY too hard off of surfaces. It makes the game feel unpredictable and incredibly difficult to use. I can't recommend this game to anyone looking for a good mini golf game.

Absolutely incredible. I couldn't believe the twist of the Invisible Wizard! Truly an art piece for the ages.

If you don't love Frog Detective I don't even wanna talk to you

While I didn't enjoy this one as much as their previous title, The Exit 8, I still had a good time playing it. Just like The Exit 8, Platform 8 is a tiny little walking horror game. It takes about an hour to see all of the content, hence the very small price tag. Some of the things they do with the space are neat, and I'd recommend playing it if you liked The Exit 8.

The Exit 8 is a wonderful, short little horror game. I'm not easy to scare with video games, but this game made me unsettled on multiple occasions. Extremely well done, and worth the tiny price tag. It only takes about an hour or so to play through entirely.

Aside from that, the game is great. It's smoother than KCD1 in multiple ways. The game runs better, Henry and his horse control better, and combat is smoother. Personally, the combat isn't entirely to my taste at the moment, but I haven't gotten too deep into it. Only just started unlocking new combos. I'm hoping it'll get a bit more complex than "perfect block -> riposte -> perfect block -> riposte -> repeat endlessly" going forward. I'm using Heavy Weapons, which apparently don't get to use Master Strikes anymore, so that's probably not helping the combat feel, either.

Other than that, the game is just great. The dialogue and story are the same top-tier of KCD1. The visuals are gorgeous, the world is so tempting to explore with all of its nooks and crannies and goofy side quests. Can't wait to drop 250 hours into this like I did with 100%ing the first one.
