Update: B42 has been awesome overall, even if some things still need some ironing out. Zomboid is 100% separating itself from the rest in the survival genre. This game stands above all.

The game I have put the most hours into since I put thousands into 7 Days To Die.. And I see myself playing this one even more.
It is simply the most realistic survival system around, with crafting of basically anything you can think of, a wide reaching skill system, constant updates, an AMAZING modding community and an overall amazing player community as well!
You will get more value for your buck out of PZ through thousands of hours of gameplay, both SP and MP. Looking forward to seeing what Project Zomboid is as it continues to grow!

Worst 2k game I have ever played. Crashes all the time wasting 30+ min games that are in the interview at the end of a game. High rank 3 point shooters cannot hit a 3 to save their life.. have to basically play as a layup and dunk main, still averaging 40, 5 and 10+ since in inserted into the starting lineup.

None of the updates that consoles had. Just not worth the investment and will make me skip 2k23 beause of how terrible this one was.

6 new massive maps, double what 4 gave us, and as much as 1-3 combined!
New system, new intruders, new scares. This might easily be the best of the series.

Best of all.. this is all I have gotten from just ONE map.
This is going to be an awesome game that will be infinitely re-playable.
Cannot wait to get ALOT more time into this!

Very well put together.
Have been involved in review and testing since the alpha, and to see how far they have come has been amazing.
Constant updates, they listen to the playerbase.

Beautiful Lovecraft based game, very enthralling story. Only complaints.. linear game with very specific non direction points that had you spending an extra 30 mins looking for an object. Had to restart a couple times due to bugs not allowing a specific mechanic... and for the love of everything that is holy.. is 2022 now in computer gaming.. make the cursor in games FIXED. Looking down and clicking at the wrong time and getting your Windows bar instead resulted in a couple of deaths, and is highly frustrating.. other then those few complaints.. excellent game!

Fun as long as you can keep friends from hating you for lying your butt off when you are an imposter haha.

Update: I used to absolutely love this game, and now it absolutely requires modded play as the The Fun Pimps have changed the game beyond recognition. It used to be a truly open world sandbox survival to the very core. Then a17 lauched and things changed, and devs have spent years acting like the player base is their enemies while they focus more on removing things players enjoyed as compared to actually adding the things they promised years and years ago. Even to this day, Richard and Joel are blaming players for bandits being delayed and making snarky Reddit posts about jars.

Recently this game dropped to low levels of mixed and is at 51% currently in recent reviews, almost directly because the game has changed into a linear Zombie Skyrim style RPG as compared to the 'Adult Minecraft' we all fell in love with. Modding community has carried this game for years and is the only reason the game is still alive while TFP raise prices over 2x and fall short and super late on every promise. 2.0 was a disaster they are now rolling most of the updates back on, and even that was 8 months late compared to their posted release times.

I have NEVER changed a review to negative, but this is the first time I have ever had to. I only still play in support of the modders. Will be willing to amend back to positive when TFP fulfill their promises and stop attacking and making enemies out of the very players who have made them all their money. Drop the ego and attitude, Richard and Joel, its seriously killing your game.

Expansive crafting, looting and zombie killing survival that will engage you. Playing this game will have you wondering where the time went. Highly Addictive.

This is an amazing storyline. I've seen a ton of Telltale games and this one takes the cake everytime. Cannot wait to try them all!
