Update: After playing AC4 & ACT I can admit that there are some things missing from this compared to those specific older games, but this game is still excellent. The story is amazing, how the dialogue progresses through the fight makes them more cinematic. Music is super good, just as every other AC game. Art style is what I want from a game like this. The missions are fun & replayable, and you're encouraged to play through the game again with more story options in NG+ and beyond. PVP maps are from the campaign and look great. PVP is fun, but has some generic meta issues that are in Fromsoft games, but they seem to be putting out consistant balance changes. (at least in relative to Fromsoft standards) Missed co-op for the story missions. A lot of opportuntities to let players hop in as either the story based pilots/ACs that pop in to fight or you and your personal AC joining a friend to make fights cooler. A generic horde, defense, or some kind of PVPVE mode would help get friends in to try the game.

This is one of my favorite games of all time. This game does about everything right, even if it lacks some things from previous games. It makes up for this with how great everything is all around.

I recommend this for the single player remaster alone. Same great campaign with every aspect of the graphics improved. Not just a texture overhaul lol. This remaster also includes achievements unlike the original release on Steam. Runs good, and still looks great in 2023.

Regret not picking this up back in Early Access. Fun physics, a lot to learn, and a lot of tense moments. Difficult to manage solo compared to multiplayer with friends. (Still recommend this tho)

I managed to play this for 25 hours straight on a weekend without realizing it. Uhh.. Gamer moment?

This is probably as close as you'll get to a modern swat experience. Pricey compared to alternatives, but this is the best option out right now. Edit: Game has had a lot of content added, bug fixes, and quality of life changes added. It doesn't seem to be slowing down either, and I recommend this even more than my initial review. Amazing CQB swat style game
