Here's how it's going down.
Step 1: You're completely overwhelmed by the complexity and variability of this game.
Step 2: You grind through the boring start of the story because your friends tell you it's getting better.
Step 3: You slowly start to learn how the game works. Interesting part of the story begins.
Step 4: You grind hours and hours for new mods and parts while watching a lot of Netflix on your other screen or phone.
Step 5: You have completely abandoned your real life, but still feel accomplished because you finally got that mod you were looking for.
Step 6: You have got all the gear and all the idea.
Step 7: You hunt for the fashion items to let everyone KNOW that you completely lost your connection to reality. You look pretty dope tho.
Step 8: You got all the fashion items and slowly start to realise that the grineer have not yet taken over earth, even though your boss seems to be one of them and your colleagues are about as smart as them.

Get some tools, get a T-Rex, get laid. You'll be flying on friggin dragons, build a house on Littlefoots back and go deeper into the sea on your loch ness monster Plesiosaur than Adele ever did in her songs.

Don't actually try to build a nice house though. The building system is ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Slap a big cube together and call it a day.

Valve actually did it and fixed the bot crisis that had been plagueing us for years. Now I have the same fun in this timeless game that I have had for 10 years now. Life has changed, but I still come back weekly to enjoy the casual shenanigans and random silly moments of this game.
