This game might have the best combat system in all of soulsborne games.

In sekiro, there is no stamina system, which allows you to run endlessly and attack without worrying depleting your bar of stamina. The newly implemented jumping system also opens new dodging possibilities. Stealth play style also sees an encouragement from the developers, as now you can take down the boss's entire health bar before battle begins, giving you an edge in the encounter. Posture is also introduced in this game, with you and all enemies in the game having one. The enemies' posture recovers gradually if you stop attacking them, and you posture can be maintained as long as you can counter every attack perfectly.

All these ensure that combat is done fluently -- that some level of aggression is to be maintained while facing a boss. Unlike previously titles, where players might stop and bait the big moves from bosses, Sekiro actually encourages you to attack, and be as aggressive as you want.

As you cannot switch to another weapon so that you can "cheese" some bosses in the entire playthrough (cough cough Malenia cough cough), the only way you can beat a hard boss and progression is to get good and learn the way to counter every move of the boss (well you can exploit the overpowered ROBERT's firecrackers).

I really like combat in this game.

Another thing that I think most people miss while talking this game is how great the ost is. Take a listen to Divine Dragon's theme, mystical and magnificent, with dashes of Eastern colours added to bring out that Japanese folklore feeling.

Yea, I really like this game.

Except the part where if you want to obtain full achievement, you need to unlock the obtain all skills achievement. I don't know who designs this, and with what purposes in head, but the one thing I am sure about it is that it is a waste of time at best, torturing at worst.

A game that redefines farming sims.
A game that allows players to slow down their pace and experience the life of a simple farmer.
A game that provides an immersive experience in which players can appreciate the subtle art of rice growing.

10/10 A must buy
