I really like the game. I recommend it to people who know they'd enjoy going through it many times because you get some different items every playthrough (and you have permanent death). So one run through could be way different than another. The difficulty depends on what items you have, how long you were playing, and what stage you are on. Something that makes it easier is to do the tasks to get the unlockables and it makes the game a lot more enjoyable. So if you like doing those its a good game for you. Something I wish they did was add a little bit more story but that's not a big deal at all.
