I would not recomend this game eventhough it was overall enjoyable. However, the game had so many bugs when climbing (lara clinging onto random walls and throwing herself in random directions off cliffs) and random freezes from 60 fps to 10 in seconds that combined with camera angles that make it nearly unplayable in someparts of the game. The story, although predictable, was overall enjoyable but I cant help feel the tedious collection of the extra items for crafting are intended to make the game seem longer.

In places, the dialouge was so slow paced and unskippable as you are walking through the same area once again talking to Jonah or Unuratu and you had to walk slowly through cluttered areas that, other than a few textures and collectables, are essentially the same. Lara also seems to be completely uneffected by many of the scripted injuries she encounters such as falling through buildings and such and this completely ruins any immersion as she will be hurt and complain for 5 minutes and then emmidiatly forget about the building she just fell through.

Although masquerading as a stealth game, you can complete all the objectives without even having to use the stealth mechanic (excluding the tutorial) and even when you did use stealth the takedowns were clunky and you would be spottted half way through the mini-cutscene. Thurthermore, the entire series of games have lead up to a boss battle at the end that was easy and felt like any other combat in the game repeated.

However, if you are looking for a mindless shooter with very little genuine difficulty other than terrain I reluctantly reccomend buying this game.. I guess.. If you can get past the bugs, the slow paced dialouge, questionable camera angles, and the lack of any genuine entertainment value and have nothing else to do that is.
