Surfsup isn’t surf, it’s surf’s brain dead cousin who doesn’t get invited to family holidays. The whole game feels like it was built just to trap players, not to actually be fun. They’ve stripped away what surf actually is, catering only to brand-new players. The entire design is focused on teaching you the first two seconds of surfing, and then it stops being anything worthwhile.

As for the maps, they've been gutted and I've removed mine for having to deal with ceaseless nonsense. The “updates”? A mess .. fake community posts, “workshop support,” “anti-cheat,” “patches” that break more than they fix. It’s disgusting to watch them beg for attention while farming younger players and pretending the people support your game and not surf itself.

Worst part is the inconsistency. Not just in the game itself, but from the devs and the company. There’s no loyalty here just someone cashing in while they can, nothing more.

This wasn’t even a rise and fall situation – it was a disaster from the start. Keep your eyes on Momentum instead.
