A really good example of how a studio can turn a game around with time and commitment to the cause.

I would recommend No Mans Sky to anyone who is looking for a fun sci-fi game more on the slower paced side. A really good chillout game for an after-work after-commute decompress.

Really looking forward to what Hello Games do next.

Exactly as good as you've heard.

Even better now with multiplayer to keep things interesting.

Will never be finished. Got too much time on Godus to ever get a refund.

It will never be finished.

At this point they should put it out to tender or sell it to a studio that will follow through.

I've spent so much time in this game already and it's not even finished.

Stonehearth is a voxel based city builder game that scratches the same kind of itch as the millenaire mod for Minecraft.

The studio was pretty good but they've now moved on to other projects. The game is currently supported through the ACE (Authorised Community Expansion) team and there have been some very good fixes through this mod for some of the lingering issues.

In terms of modding there is an active community and a really well supported forum if you find theres something you want but the game currently lacks.

If you're looking for a city builder or building game and want something a little different, then I highly reccomend this game.

On paper I should have loved this game.

Something just refused to connect, and I couldn't really figure out what or why.

Turns out it wasn't one something, it was many somethings. As an MMO this game doesn't work as well as it could or should.

It is getting better. The One Tamriel update was a step in the right direction.

But the combat is still awful.

Just.

Awful.

Also Storm Atronachs. Try killing one as a sorcerer. I get that you're meant to try and fight them with other people but seriously try getting a group. I'm not even talking about the veteran ones, I'm talking about the ones from the main story campaign where you're trying to help a certain mage do a certain thing in a certain place then BAM. Storm Atronachs. Urgh.

The mods are -really- what make this game. The vanilla experience is fun, immersive and engaging with so much stuff that's easy to miss that it takes a few replays to feel like you've really seen everything.

With mods however, there isn't an end to Tamriel.

This title has the longest legs of an RPG that I have seen, and the full potential of the editor has not yet even been tapped. If you buy this game, there will be something in the community that will keep you playing for years to come.

Would recommend to anyone. Get the Legendary Edition, and disable the Dragonborn DLC until you are around level 20 or so, or you will not have a good time in the early story steps.

ALSO: If you're planning on playing Oblivion first, make sure you complete Oblivion... if you get tempted by this midway through you will find it really difficult to go back.

I came late to the title and only just played it for the first time.

It's a decent title that does live up to it's reputation. The length is reasonable, and the game plays well in this version. There are some minor annoyances that you may find if you are used to the combat systems of more modern titles, and the game does punish you for not fighting in the manner for which the system is designed.

I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys console RPGs or Lionhead's other work. Even if you're a strictly mouse and keyboard gamer, once you get past the initial feeling of "this controls like a tank" the gameplay is fun.

A decent enough game that hasn't aged too badly.

The constant nagging about promotions wears thin by the second level.
