This is one of the best strategy games I've ever played and I recommend it to everyone, experts and newcomers alike. However, if you do buy this game, make sure it's the Complete Edition. The DLCs (especially BNW) flesh out the game in areas the vanilla definitely needed. The only problem is that I don't get to play it much as a one game can take anywhere from 4-12 hours. It's a great game to play with friends for a nice marathon.
