Clash of clans has better lore than this game. This game has repetitive combat, boring upgrades, and the story was made by a seven year old. Its not a good CO-OP experience and it sucks to play by yourself. You fight the same enemies until the boss arrives which is the only variation. Don't make the mistake of buying this game on sale just avoid it.

Definitely, the best gameplay-wise out of all the GTA's but Rockstar also takes a step outta the way to make the game easier to play for the player with the checkpoint system in missions which makes it more replayable. Credit to the Rockstar team for making driving, shooting, flying ♥♥♥♥ almost everything better in GTA 5. I like that they added a way to roll over your car and not just hop out and watch that car you stole at the beginning of the mission being torched, then proceed to run down the street waiting for a car to spawn. Rockstar took the unrealistic approach with the storytelling taking a lot of inspiration from movies and cultural icons, kinda losing the realistic approach like they had with the last game but I don't see it as a bad thing. The powers you get seem cool but I think the gunfights are easy without them, Franklin definitely has the most useful power. The cops in this game actually try to chase you down and they have aim bot which makes shootouts and chases more engaging compared to GTA 4. The thing that bugged me is that there was no crouch and they swapped it out for stealth mode which puts you in full Quasimodo which makes you move like a turtle. This game's world is full of detail with a bunch of easter eggs it's so good that I could recognize some streets in real-life LA just because of this game. The addition of personal vehicles is cool and gives the game more character, the mini-games are well made the best mini-game for me is the triathlons. The best part is you don't have to do any of it, you could just play the story and be done with the game or explore the game's world and do the stranger missions and find collectibles. This game's radio is better than the radio in real life and is the most diverse out of all the GTA’s. If you don't like rockstars' mission design this game will bore you quickly, but if you're into Rockstar’s way of portraying a story then this is a must-buy. One last thing is this game's port is way better than the older GTA’s which makes life so much easierDefinitely, the best gameplay-wise out of all the GTA's but Rockstar also takes a step outta the way to make the game easier to play for the player with the checkpoint system in missions which makes it more replayable. If you go through the nightmare of launching something on the rockstar game launcher and you are a GTA stan you will enjoy this game, Niko is probably the best-written character in the series and the story is good but has its highs and lows. Yes, some mechanics did not age well, but it was a game of its time when cover shooters were the trend in gaming, but gun combat isn't the worst. The first problem I ran into is that the driving and flying in this game are pretty clunky if you use a mouse and keyboard, but I had no problems using a controller. The second problem is that all missions don't have checkpoints, I know this game was made at a time when checkpoints were in every game so they took the creative step not to add them but I don’t believe it would take away anything the game has to offer if they added checkpoints. They at least give you the option to try again with the phone immediately so there is that. Rockstar’s lazy mission design is all over this game, not all missions, but somewhere the same guy tells me who to kill, drives to the spot gun down twenty people then cutscene, cop chase then end of the mission. Sometimes they don't even give the courtesy of a cutscene and they just give you a phone call that's it. The customization in this game isn’t as vast as San Andreas and there is no barber but there are new mini-games that are kinda cool. Things like hand-to-hand and gun combat improve because of the lock-on system compared to San Andreas. The cover system wasn’t the worst and no mission in this game seemed like complete bs. The game's world is packed full of detail and a big improvement to GTA 3’s Liberty City. The train system is a dope feature that most people don't use besides in a mission or two. The thing that wraps it all up is the story, the characters you meet have problems that most people can relate to and portrays a world as corrupt as our very own. One last note, the port for this game is bad like really bad to the point that I had to reinstall this game like seven times to complete the main story.7/10(*single player only*)
