They had something really nice going for it. With this latest update, they really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over their player base. I have no drive to play the game anymore, even though I miss it a lot. They killed an entire market for the game and are charging $50 for one outfit. Are you serious? No compensation (Well what they gave us was hardly compensation) for the people who bought the classes, you're all just ♥♥♥♥♥♥. They literally restructured the game just so they can nickle and dime it more. I can't recommend this game anymore, I was trying to get more friends to play it and now I am glad none of them stuck. I should have known better really with KoG's track record.

People are stupid. This game is amazing.
Buy it if you've been thinking about it, you won't regret it if you like looter shooters.

The only reason people are downvoting is for a completely unrelated issue that has little/nothing to do with this gem. IT DOES NOT JUSTIFY VIOLATING OTHER GAMES.

Pros
- No Hassle with DLC anymore.
- Graphics are a lovely cartoonish style with bold outlines.
- Characters with different abilities.
- Four player fun!!
- Minimap!

Cons
- Glitches tend to be abundant.
- Bullet collision detection is really off, even in solo play (You should shoot a bandit or something who is standing still, and the bullet will soar through his head).

A perfect example of a real kickstarter. Best controls and impressions for a video game in a long long time, not to mention the amazingly adorable graphics. One of my favorite games ever.

I played this during the free weekend so I don't have the whole concept of what's unfair and what is fair just yet. However I can tell you without a doubt that are some imbalances that will cause stress and peer to peer connection shouldn't be a thing. That's not to say that this game isn't worth it.
Pros:
-You feel badass. Every clash and cling of the weapon is so audible and you know will just sink your enemy's health bar. You can counter, ram into, and slice your enemies to bits! It's so satisfying. The beheadings are nauseatingly good... if that's a word
-This game is looks and sounds gorgious. You can tell what's metal, you can tell what's blood, you can tell what's clothing and hair in HD glory.
-Mostly everything can be obtained for free... I mean, obviously it should since you would spend money on it, but some are locked behind a season pass (Only cosmetics I believe)
-LOADS and I mean LOADS of customization options.
Cons:
-Peer to peer connections. While I haven't dealt with any horror stories, I know that others have.
-There are some inbalances, Mashing the guard break move can be annoying, especially if you're knocked into a corner versing 3 other headbutters.

(I only recommend this game through competitive play and because it has a low price)
Well I've had this game ever since it came it out across two different steam accounts (Not to smurf or anything I just switched accounts).

Pros:
1. It's fun.
2. Definitely exceptional competitive play. (Focus point pretty much of this game).
3. Fun with friends.
4. Requires skill, health management, and communication across your teammates.
5. Low price (I paid like $5 or $7 with a summer sale a while ago)
6. Weapon skins, although I don't like how the market is for them, are designed with care, love, excellent detail from the fanbase.
7. Graphics get the job done. (There really doesn't need to be amazing graphics since mostly everyone turns them down anyway.)

Cons:
1. You get what you paid for, there really isn't much content. That might not be a con for some, but unless you're going to go into competitive play you really won't be here very long.
2. Hackers. There are too many hackers nowadays.
3. The game can become unbalanced with new updates, and fixes aren't exactly fast.
4. Gun skins are pretty much a gamble. The only way you can get them is with real money, I personally do not condone gambling. It ruins lives and it's illegal in a lot of places across the globe, CS:GO gambling is/has been no exception.
5. While there are great people you can meet, the community is rather toxic. I'm no SJW but this game has some of the most offensive people (and sometimes nice). It doesn't matter if you're their teammate or not, so brace yourselves if you want to buy this game.
6. "CORRUPT UPDATE FILES" happens across both of my computers, and valve hasn't seemed to notice or try to fix it. It's annoying cause for days this issue won't be fixed

I wouldn't really recommend it unless you like competitive play.

From my like short experience, I can say I will come back to this game. It does pretty much everything right, even for new players this game is great and the optimization is actually well done, frame-rate suprising barely affects gameplay. Everything is able to be bought with in-game cash but also irl cash (which is a good or bad thing). Team-work, is definitely needed I cannot STRESS this enough but normally you get supporting teammates so just do you part and you'll be fine. There is but ONE con; the T-bagging lmao. (I didn't read any other reviews of this game so it's 100% my own short experience with the BETA BUILD) I rate it 8/10 as of right now, 6/2/15 (May or may not change later as I become more involved). I hope the community grows for this game!

Purely amazing. Yeah sure you need a decent pc to run it at medium settings. Chicago has never been replicated any better than this. Soundtrack is so deeply engaging and fits the usual situation of the digit environment that Aiden Pearce finds himself in. The minigames are actually very fun as well to my surprise. The customization has various other coats and jackets, maybe not that many but theyre all very detailed with their own type of "pizzazz". Aiden himself is very fleshed out as a character you'll find out more that he is more than meets the eye.

So after taking look back into this game in forever, I remembered why I sank so much time into it. Many things have changed... No thanks to G1. And thank god that its going to keep changing for the better. G1 is now owned by Little Orbit, who have done good in the past. The game is still shakey, but their current mission to is put the PC version on par with the console version. This company has already showed a lot of ambition to the project while on a loss. For example, they've already rebuilt the forums, are fixing the lag, appointed GM's, unbanned everyone who's been accused of hacking, and have actually sent out updates more often than G1 has in the passed 2 years. I recommend it once again since forever ago.
