If you've liked this genre - Diablo, Torchlight, Grim Dawn, whatever - you owe it to yourself to try this game. This game is the logical conclusion of that genre. This is the apex of the ARPG genre.

Do not feel like you're going to start too far behind - the game is played in 'leagues' and while all characters end up in the 'standard' league, every few months, all players are encouraged to participate in a new league where everyone starts back at level 1 with no items. And you know what? They do it. Because in this game they actually made the jouney fun, even to people that want to make up their own stratgies and craziness.

So, what makes this game unique and great? It's got a good team behind it, that wants to work with the community to work well. It's free to play with no restrictions (although I expect that players playing for more than two weeks will want a one time payment of $15). But the real kicker is quantity. Sheer ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ quantity. The number of combinations, of MEANINGFUL choices you can make in this game will not leave you disappointed. Want a build where you just move as fast as you can, but want it to be really good? Yea, why not. Mines that explode into traps that explode into totems? Sure, why not? Dropping yourself to a single point of health and still haveing a perfeclty viable build? Of course.

The game is pretty hardcore, but totally worth it.

While this is outdated and unneeded by this point in time. I found out something pretty cool about Thyme and Sage today. Apparently in flower language
Thyme: Strength
Sage: Wisdom

So we unintentionally choose two opposites for the version names. Just wanted to share that with you.
