Game had a tough start because of technical difficulties. Devs been working hard on it but 95% of the people with negative reviews did not show any patience just hate. still THEY WANTED TO PLAY SO BADLY CUZ ITS GOOD.
People forget that this is not a full release. its a Early Access means.. you join development.
Accept it or wait till f2p full release.


PRO:
- Game is running smootn,
- combat doesnt feel clunky (sometimes i seem to be direction locked even if my cam cam shows somewhere else while having attack cam direction enabled)

NEUTRAL:
- Boss mechanics could be bit more harder in my opinion. They are doable even if mad undergeared.
- currently lack of features, so engame is basically farming to unlock new characters. But Roadmap already got published so new features probably coming the next weeks.

CON:
- Trickster Coins. I dont mind grinding but this is some mad RNG fiesta. 15 Imbuements, 2 trickster, 1 coin. And you basically have to solo farm them else someone might just steal it.
(unless you got lucky with the trickster trophy to get free coins)
- i am used to have global map markers for my quests. If you finished a quest and the questgiver is in a different area then "M" wont show it until you teleport to that specific area. Means you might have to teleport multiple times if you forgot where you started it.

Might add more if i can think of anything

Already got some more hours from Epic Alpha so dont get tricked by my steam gametime.
Loved to play super smash bros brawl and smite = good combination.
Early Stage of the Game is really good, balancing is also decent. Some might say 1-2 gods are off but... been able to deal with every god pretty good sofar if you know mechanics/interactions.

For my taste i miss something to grind for (maxing gods is fast with the current promotion)
like...
- ranked mode and rewards.

we definitly need more of this:
- maps
- modes
- gods

But besides that i can just recommend it. Might update this review by the time new content comes out.

crossfire is better... by far.

dont even try it. you will probably waste more time downloading than playing.

- time limited items
- gun handling is trash, 1 taps that should be one taps arent for a reason i couldnt figure out.
- no hold to aim option

It's pretty good for a f2p shooter. Obviously some lags make it hard to review the game but i guess the hitreg and the handling is also nice.
I am a big fan of how the weapon system works. you can customize attachments are leveling up the weapons and you dont need to repair them. Also the guns are permanent and not temp.? You get some guns from lootboxes you can use in your loadouts. If you want to use the same weapon in both loadouts you also need to own them twice.
I believe there is a 7/14-day Test version of two guns you get somewhen because of an event.

Theres modes like TDM, 5v5 bomb defuse, some mutant/zombie mode (crossfire fans leets gooo) BR and some BR mode where everyone runs around with a big Doge Headgear which seemed pretty fun even if i dont understand sh!t and at some point a 5000hp doge just knives the sh!t out of you.
I just played TDM and Doge BR sofar but i will try out the others aswell.

Idk why people are complaining about the controls. those are pretty basic and not much to change. wasd, lean left right, crouch bla... everyone who played FPS before.. can kind of guess the controls already.

BUT

protip: get yourself google live translator on your phone so you can quick translate controls, groundloot whatever by pointing your camera on it.
protip²: change voiceover language to english. (yes thats possible.)
could help in some situations maybe? bomb planted? idk.

I hope they go for the western market so we can play lag free.

Review till 1. Day Assassin Patch. !!!!!

Ive played Revelation Online since CBT before Steam release with multiple max level characters (id say 1.5k hours) so dont look at my steam playtime. (MAIN GUNSLINGER)
Ive bought the founderpack for 20$ to be able to enter CBT.

Before i start:
Play the game if you want to. Its not that bad like people say. I just give a warning so you are prepared.
I dont want to give the game thumbs up or thumbs down. Since there is no inbetween i will give it a thumbs up because i actually enjoyed the game besides the performance problems and no chance to keep up as free to play after 69+ if uvent stocked up alot of in-game cash to get geared. monkaS

Revelation was a good game overall. Ive enjoyed it alot but it dropped since my.com didnt give a damn about it.

Pros:
-good combat system.
you can choose between the classic tab target or a action combat/hybrid
- overall good class balancing
- good class mechanics. Had fun playing every class
Tank: Vanguard
Dps: Swordmage, Blademaster (offtank aswell), Gunslinger, Assassin, Occultist (offheal aswell)
Healer: Spiritshaper

Cons:
- bad performance in PVP
That was the main point why alot of people quit playing the game.
Theres battleground pvp (small scale) and sieges/guildwar
Your pc can be as good as you want. you will end up with <20fps depending on the location of the fight and the actual number of players around. Roughly id say. everything above 30v30 gives you huge performance problems.
The performance in PVE was normal.

- poor customer support or security.
if your account got hacked which was possible even if you had your warehouse and your gear locked with a second password.
your account/items/gear was lost. The support didnt really care.

as i said i was a f2p player and your daily grind is f**** real to keep up (and i dont mean like 4h a day. ALOT MORE NEEDED)

you can get everything as a f2p player which can be bought from the cashshop since you can exchange your in-game gold for Aurum (thats the Cash currency)
you just need alot of time to get that. At release it was fairly easy to make money because everything was new and not alot of people knew whats goin to rocket. I sadly cant imagin how it is now since i dont play anymore.


If you decide to play on an old server and not on the new steam released server:
You will have to play with whales. The low level PVP battlegrounds will be dead
most BG PVP will happen lv69+
First battleground is 49 but i dont think anyone queues for it.

You got locked behind daily dungeon/raid entries like 3 or 1 entry a day.
You have no more worldbosses which are open-world (they removed them for instance based stuff which kinda killed open-world PVP)

You can have mounts and wings which are split into rarities. Higher rarity -> higher speed and stamina (if your out of stamina you can still fly but slower speed)
You are not restricted to where you use wings or mounts. (you cant use wings in raids or PVP Battleground)

The game got a housing-system for the ROLEPLAY BOOOYS N GIIRLS
but i cant give any statement to it.

Fairly big amount of skins/costumes exist aswell which can be obtained through events, cashshop or community contests Below you can see a old contest entry of me where i obtained some high-rarity wings and a costume.


PS: (its not max settings as i said FPS problems can be obtained quite easily in big fights)
