Personally, the game reminds me of the old Prince of Persia java games, but with a modern and higher budget kick to it. I love how most of the puzzles are not only based on the abilities you have but just straight up platforming challenges that's like a good mix of recent Rayman and Prince of Persia. The studio behind it IS also behind the recent Rayman games. The combat is fairly simple yet diverse enough so it doesn't feel same-y for a long while.

Even though, this is one of the longer metroidvanias I've played, I think it's also one of the better ones that got me hooked enough to see it through to the end and complete the game.

I recommend it due to the fact that it's easy to hop into if you wanna get into MH, but personally as an Old School MH player. It's the only game that stands out from the rest imo. The whole game got loads of different stuff that I don't really like due to the whole game rewriting the whole formula. From quests, to attack patterns and all that. Enjoyed it, but I really don't like most of the newly added stuff that wholly differs from the rest of the series.

A friend recommended me the game, believed his words. Got the game and soundtrack barely even knowing about the game.

This may not be the definitive way to play it, but it's worth it. One of my favorite games as of recent.

I may not have 100 hours on this, but I sure have 100%'d it.


It's decent. Compared to the other boost games before this, I'd say it's somewhat better than Colors. Other than that the others were better. Get only if on sale ngl LMAO
