It was a new direction on the resident evil series and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The setting and inhabitants of the game really don't make you feel welcome and keeps you on the edge.
The story isn't anything groundbreaking but the characters are fun even if they feel a bit cheesy.
The game understands it is kinda ridiculous and it embraces that feeling to make it fun at every turn.
The weapons feel great, even if the controls can sometimes feel restrictive.
There are a few quick time events but not enough to make you feel like there are too many of them.
Replaying the game is also fun because you get access to new weapons that change your entire approach to the game.
