Fun game, lots of things to do, good music, funny dialogue, it's in ways like Retro Rampage but a bit different as here you work your way to be the best in town, business wise.

It's like Runescape (Oldschool) except it's single player with the option to see other players in towns and such, adds for the social part. Can't do much with that but it adds to the life of the game seeing people run around, you can inspect their gear and you don't feel alone in the game, also chatting with them works.

There's lots of quests, map is huge and unlike Runescape, here quests are not as "complicated" in terms of preparation and such, it's more oldschool in questing terms. So far I've enjoyed every quest I've done. Graphics are also gorgeous, sound design is awesome and overall aesthetics are great. Alt tabbing in this game, depending on location gives you some nice ambience in the background lol. Each thing you kill, has a bestiary, besides seeing its stats you also see their drop table and loot drop chances.

The atmosphere is top notch imo, the story so far is interesting, lots of stuff to kill and re-kill. There's also over 240 achievements in the game which are nicely put in categories, also as of recently devs added more achievements. The best part about the achievement is that once one is done, you get a reward, so each one grants you a reward.

The combat is more dynamic than OSRS, where if you're using range (archery) you can run away, shoot, run away shoot, so you can mix combat styles where in say OSRS, you usually gotta safespot creatures because they catch up with you. There's also abilities you learn for your weapon types.

I hope the dev will keep adding more stuff /expansions because this game is a true GEM in this genre.

TLDR : If you love GRINDING then this is, also for any OSRS/RS fan. I am no writer of reviews but I just wanna give this game a thumbs up, totally deserves it. Also honestly, just scroll up to the game's store page, it's summarized nicely along with GIFS so you get an idea quick about how the game goes.

This is just a review to add a positive over the ridiculous review bombing that's happening. Game is great.

Loving it, fast paced, numbers go up, it feels good to get drops. The story / lore intermingles nicely with the gameplay where it doesn't get in the way. At first I was skipping all dialogues but as it progressed I started watching the short cutscenes, they're well done too. It's a great ARPG.

I recommend it 100%. Especially for the multiplayer. It's fast and easy to get matches going especially in the new mode, "brigades", where each player picks a doctrine and follows it. Automatch is what this game needed and it got it now.

The game also has a CLASSIC mode for those missing the old school men of war type of showdown. Single player is alright with more mods on the way to enhance it and for sure upcoming updates/expansions. I'm more of a multiplayer guy so I recommend it solely on that alone. If I were to be focused on single player I would get it as well just for that.

The game is great, the sub is a bit pricey but you can still have fun as f2p. Join one side and stick to it, lately the population has been better, lots of action around the clock. Some people play it via the game's version off their website so steam doesn't track their numbers.

I'll re-sub again for sure by the looks of it. You can talk trash about the graphics/gameplay as much as you'd like, but people still play chess, so the point is, the game does good what it does and it's fun, great scale of combat with mixed combat roles and good teamwork. Once a battle starts, you'll experience stuff you can't in other games.

Get past the clunkiness and you'll get used to it to the point where it won't matter. The experience is what counts.

PS : if you'll play tanks, atgs, trucks and you will, imo it's best to search online or maybe ask on their discord for sgtspoonskeymaps. I recall it was called like that, or message me, I'll just give you my whole. Basically it's some keybinds for better keyboard/mouse combo control over atgs, tanks and so on, for planes i recommend a joystick.
