Enjoyable CRPG. I haven't finished the story yet, but have been entertained. It did not have the smoothest launch, but the developer has worked hard to stabilize the game and optimize load times. Also adding some later game QoL improvements. (Teleportation towers)

You will see loading screens, it's going to happen and you will question your sanity from time to time. But the story and game play have been good enough to keep me going so far.

I have been a fan of the CRPG for many decades and this one is (mostly) using a system (pathfinder) that I prefer. I consider it a good purchase and entertaining.

So far so damn good. Chapter one is a hoot, can't wait to see what happens next.

I played Bards Tale on my C-64 back in the day, so my review may be affected by the fond memories I have. I am just getting started in BardsTale 4 and am enjoying it quite a bit. In many ways it feels like a throwback to a different era of CRPG, but I think the modernization has been implemented well.

I'm not sure if this will be a game "For everyone" but it is for me. There are layers of puzzles, turned based combat and a system that lends itself to exploration. Throw in the old-era charm of code-wheels and cipher books and I am all in. Knowing there is more beneath the surface will keep me entertained for a long time.

Someday I will even get the soup.

This is Battletech. This is straight lifted from our tabletop games in the 80's and 90's. Turn based, unapologetic, Heat, Stability, Ammo, mechs punching mechs, mechs stomping tanks, DEATH FROM ABOVE!

Got this as a gift from Humble Bundle

I have played the XCOM series since the orginal XCOM. This was an over the shoulder shooter based heavily in the XCOM universe. The story was good as was the action. THe most frustrating thing was squaddie management. Equip them with anything that makes them take less damage or bleed-out slower. Add any perks that add to thier health. These two wingmen will do everything in their power to hinder your advancement. If that means jumping out of cover sddenly to face an armored Muon, that is what they'll do.

Any mod that would remove the requirement of the squaddies would have been appreciated. That said, the game was fun when the squaddies did what they were told and stayed in flipping cover.

A fantastic peice of storytelling, feels more in line with the graphic novels than the show,

I still haven't completed this game. Right now I am huddled under a bed, my heart is in my throat, my palms sweaty. The alien will find me, it always finds me. I love it.

I feel like it is a completely different game. Credit where it is due, the makers have kept at it and delivered a fantastic game. I am very happy to delete my old review and leave this positive one as its replacement.

This game rewrites what is to be expected in CRPGs from now on. THe graphics are next gen, the characters and story are amazing. The quests, they mean something. It is everything Fallout 4 should have been.
