Toxic playerbase and I'm really truly awful and hit my skill cap really quickly but sometimes I'm really decent and it does my head in cos i wish i was somewhat good most of the time but I'm not and that makes me angry therefore this game deserves a negative review. I'm still ♥♥♥♥. So the game still gets a thumbs down from me.

I have never hate-played a game as much as this. It is atrocious. Absolutely garbage matchmaking, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ team players incapable of playing objective on obj playlists, stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lag making hit detection as unreliable as ♥♥♥♥ from both sides. Absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ abysmal showing from 343 who have failed, once again, to even remotely understand what made the legacy Halo games good. You'd think they'd have figured that out after spending so long with them in the MCC.

None of that, of course, is an excuse for my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ inability to play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. I know, I'm ♥♥♥♥. I need to 'get gud' or get gone. But this is a mainline Halo game on PC and Xbox, and it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ F2P. It should be catering to less-skilled, more casual players just as much as the wannabe-pro, sweaty ass, Halo nerds busy jacking off over Cortana, and should have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ working matchmaking system that doesn't land higher skill players with idiotic asswipes, and shouldn't discourage newer players who haven't quite got the game down by matching them against sweaty hardcore nerds. And it shouldn't punish mid-players like me for wanting to play what should a fun ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bit of Halo.

I love this game. I truly believe there is something great at its core. Something worth polishing and improving. Buts it needs a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ re-work. A whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bunch of fixes. And at this rate, after so many chances, I think the Halo franchise needs a new dev team. ♥♥♥♥ 343

I like to live my life with one philosophy. That I do not regret any action I do or do not take. Nearly all my life this philosophy has served me well, until today. Today I did something that I know will regret for years to come. I bought this game. Thanks to this game I have lost £27 and hours of my life. These were horrible, laggy, unoptimised, glitchy hours, and I will never get them back. This game sucks, do not buy it.

Not a good game. Awful collision detection and controls combine to give some of the glitchiest and least fun gameplay iv'e encountered in a skateboarding game. When the old games for PS1 that this game is supposed to be homage to are better, then you know there's something wrong with your game. The only reason I could think of for buying this is for the nostalgia feel, and for that you'd be better off getting a PS1 emulator and playing the older games anyway. This is not worth money, if you really want to play it, download it elsewhere.
