Did I buy this game because of a recommendation by Todd Howard on the Kinda Funny podcast? Yes. Yes I did.

Did I know what I was buying? No. No I did not.

Is this game amazingly addictive and a combination of Slay the Spire mixed with Tetris? Yes. Yes it is.

Played Vanilla Wow since beta when I was a young teen, but fell out of love with a lot of the changes that moved it further and further away from being an RPG. This game still has the interesting quests that used to exist in WoW. The biggest problem is and always has been the way servers and different platforms are treated.

Besides poor server design, there's just no reason for PC to be playing on separate servers from consoles in the year 2026. I think if that was fixed this game would be way more popular.

I'm a newb. I don't know whats going on, but I was looking for a game like "Space Bucks" from the 90s. No. I didn't find that. I found a way better game that is the most complex thing I've ever played.

Honestly, I have about 80 hours on Demonologist and now about 10 hours on this game. This game is awful and I would do anything to get my money back. The levels are incredibly dull and lacking personality. There aren't scary sounds or any kind of jump scares.

Incredibly boring.

About 13 more hours played because I couldn't refund this junk. Descriptions for ghosts are inaccurate and do not represent any actions taken by the ghost. Example: Obake mentions bones and things when they're present. But it doesn't matter because bones are frequently present within a level. There is no way that a ghost description should overlap with a side objective on the map.

This game sucks. Buy Demonologist. Seriously. It looks better. It plays better. Evidence makes sense.

I was part of early testing for this game, and honestly, I can't see this game releasing within the next year. It feels extremely unfinished and unpolished.

Some things I noticed playing recently:
1. The game feels flat. Sound effects are missing in simple places and it harms the experience of the game significantly.
Example: Buildings make no sounds when clicking on them. When you start to build units, units make no sound that you're making units. Build times on units don't exist... The entire system feels horrible.
2. Factions are incredibly imbalanced and the new Celestial race is...... awful.
3. Maps are way too large. Creeping on maps detracts heavily from an RTS Experience.
4. Unit pathing is weird. Unit movement feels flat and odd (similar to the sound).

I was SUPER excited for this after playing literal decades of Starcraft 1 through WC3, but this just isn't it. Unfortunately.

The game play is repetitive, but if you love Harry Potter and the world you will know doubt enjoy this game! Is it a revolutionary experience? No, but its an amazing love letter for Harry Potter fans.

Friend and I bought this game to try something new one weekend, and we ended up playing it for like 5 hours the first night.... And we've been playing ever since... Then I bought the game for a friend as well.

The game isn't perfect, but I'm not sure it needs to be. Hunting ghosts with your friends is a ton of fun, but it's possible to complete levels alone as well. The game does a perfect job of keeping the "demon" out of the camera as much as possible and letting your own mind wander in the dark. It's very well done, however, I do think the actual animations and character models for the demons need to be improved.

Otherwise, this game is off to a great start!

Game is a bug-fest. Developers take a long time fix issues. Steam Deck support mostly broken even though it says Playable. Game has an amazing game loop, but complete failure in terms of support.

Is it the best RPG ever made? No. Is it an amazing RPG that you should play? Yes.
