It puts a damn crosshair on your damn screen for instances when your dumb ass game doesn't have built in crosshairs because the developer is an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. This is a glorified digital allen wrench and free. 10/10

The 3 best metroidvanias in the Castlevania series + a remake of the old Haunted Castle arcade game that shouldn't be slept on. The games themselves for this price would be worth it alone but included quality of life features like rewind make it the best way to play. Between this and Anniversary Collection the only conspicuously missing rerelease is Symphony of the Night.

A bizarre but surprisingly compelling social experiment disguised as a horror cat and mouse game. There's nothing else quite like it.

A fantastic spiritual remake of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. A few bugs aside this is one of if not the best metroidvania game to come out in years. And to think most of DLC features haven't been released yet and it's already a phenomenal game. Also, soundtrack is great too.

This game had already been out 5 years by the time I finally got around to trying it. It's a fantastic co-op heist/horde shooter. If you've played Left 4 Dead it's sorta like that only replace the zombies with SWAT guards with guns. The development cycle and sheer girth of DLC add-ons have made things a bit complicated to get what you want but if you're content to buy all the DLC (I don't think you can normally play all the heists without it) you'll be spoiled for choice with weapon unlocks. The primary gameplay loop is to run a heist, earn loot, buy new skills, guns, and cosmetics, then run more heists. Apparently the game launched with less than 20 heists, now there's almost 70 with the latest (final?) released just this month. If you got some buddies to run some big time crimes while blowing away thousands of law enforcement officers to some sick adrenaline pumping tunes, this game is still great. I can't really recommend it if you'd rather play it alone but it is totally playable solo.

Also, you can play as Scarface, John Wick, and Ron Perlman while running heists for Gustavo Fring. This game has a disgusting amount of content at this point.
I nominate this every year for Steam Awards.

This game is a fantastic homage to Castlevania 3. If you didn't get this game free from your kickstarter pledge on Bloodstained then I'd recommend picking it up if you're into the classic series. This game can be beaten in only a couple hours due to fair difficulty and generous amount of health and abilities, but the replay value is high. Multiple paths and hidden secrets leave much to be discovered on subsequent runs. I'll be excited to see this at a GDQ event someday. There's even a casaul difficulty for players who are new to this type of game.

Bot Vice plays like an homage to games like Wild Guns with an aesthetic that feels equal parts Mega Man X and TMNT. You have guns, a melee attack, a dodge and a cover mechanic to take down waves of robots and cyborgs. Gameplay gets overwhelming in a hurry as you have to deal with bullet hell levels of suppressive fire unless you can crowd control in a hurry. The game also incourages speed running as most levels can be completed in ~60-90 seconds and you're graded based on your completion time. Once you finish the 25 levels you unlock 25 harder bonus missions to take on as well. Toss in some achievements that require you to complete levels certain ways and there's a lot of challenging old school replayability here. Game can be frustrating due to some brutally hard enemy patterns and the autoaim mechanic not being able to lead targets that are moving or obscured by cover. Also if you play it for several hours you may experience pain holding RB+A the entire time so remember to take a break now and then. All in all a fantastic Wild Guns like game.

It's basically a cyberpunk version of Painkiller, or Painkiller is a horror version of Hard Reset. It's solid, fairly short and just feels good to play. Not much variety to what you do but the game is usually only a few $ during sales. It's worth it.
