To put it simply, this is a Call of Duty game. If you like Call of Duty, you'll enjoy this. If you were never a fan, this is not gonna change your mind.

Definitely much more balanced than MW2, though you might be seeing the AK74U being used a lot. I personally don't like it, but it's popular. Wager matches are fun, though sharpshooter is a bit bland compared to the other 3, and zombies is... well... zombies.

Doesn't really push the envelope in any way, but I guess it's hard to fix what's not broken.

Don't waste your money on the map packs though. $15 for 5 maps? Forget it.
You can get much more value for $15 spent through steam, it's not worth it.

If you enjoyed the first FEAR, this is a definite must buy. The biggest problem with the original FEAR was it's dragging second act, and the story is much more streamlined in this game. Making this story a much more exciting one. The paranormal effects are spectacular and are more frequent than the original as well.

Also, while the game ends in a cliffhanger, it is probably one of the best, and creepiest, cliffhangers I've seen. The ending really does make this game worthwhile.

A very surprising game. I had known about Knights of the Old Republic and the Mass Effect series, but this game completely cam out of the blue to me. I bought it on a whim, since it was only $15 (and seeing the Bioware logo), and I have to say it's probably one of the most unique games I've played.

If you haven't played it, at least give it a try. You will likely not be dissappointed.

If you like zombie games, they don't come much better. Generally play with friends if you can, but if you can't, playing coop on advanced or expert is a general good time for everyone.

Vs mode is fun too, but is generally better with friends. The main problem is this mode is very easily griefed, and a good game can be easily ruined in no time at all.

It may not have a constant grip on your attention like TF2 or the Call of Duty series, but you'll find your self coming back often enough.

Easily one of the best multiplayer shooters of all time. All the characters are balanced well and have unique quirks worth checking out. The item system is an interesting feature and really gives you the sense of continually earning new things.

The games greatest strength can also be it's greatest downfall. This is a TEAM game, you're only as good as your worst player. If someone is not doing thier job, you will likely lose. This can be frustrating at times when most of your team is doing well, only to lose from 1 or 2 people either not keeping up, or being useless. 80% of games usually come down to the wire anyway, so steamrolls tend to be rare.

Also, generally try to stick to capture point, payload, or CTF games. Arena blows... HARD! Also, avoid 2 Fort if you can. A couple hours of play will make that perfectly clear.

A very fun platformer! No real bells and whistles to this one; no powerups, no gimmicks. Just get from start of a map to the goal. Extremely hard! I wouldn't expect anyone to beat the entire game in one night.

If you're a fan of the original Painkiller and it's expansion; I would not recommend this game. Everything is recycled from the previous games with nothing really new to speak of, and it doesn't even conclude anything Black Edition set up. The game just ends in another cliffhanger and a pretty crappy one at that.

If you're interested in getting Painkiller, just go for Black Edition. It may be $5 more, but you get infinitely more content. This game is just a cash-in on the title and nothing more.

DON'T BUY!

For 5 bucks, this game is a definite must own! The humor is great (some quite a bit unexpected), and the gameplay feels solid and fair.
