Relaxing and mellow game.
Express yourself to real life people and write advice about their problems in a cozy room with nice music.

I've played a few deck building games and this was by far the most fun and innovative one I've played yet.
You get to choose 1 of 3 heroes and begin your Journey to... you guessed it, Slay the Spire. Each Hero you play with is unique and has their own set of cards special to that hero. There are 3 acts to beat with 3 separate bosses to beat with the 3rd act being the final boss the beat. The game isn't easy, and its not very hard. The difficulty seems to be just right to make it quite challenging and not getting frustrated to the point where it keeps you on your toes.

As you get further and further into the game, your begin unlocking new cards to expand your deck. I admit, the game starts off a little bit slow but with time it gets more exciting. The difficulty varies and becomes harder once you beat it the firs time with an option to click if you want to further strengthen the minions for an even greater challenge. Each play through never quite becomes dry because there are Relics and items which beefs up your character.

I nominated this game for The Steam Awards in the category "Most Innovative Gameplay" award because its just that damn good.
I've spend around 21 hours into it so far and have yet to unlock everything yet, but thus far it has kept me wanting more. Thumbs Up, I recommend this game to anyone who wants to try a fun and exciting deck building game.

Addicting game, has a strong and enticing plot that's not simple, yet not too overly complex either! I haven't played the first mass effect game but apppatenly this game doesn't overwhelm newcomers to the series since the story was easy enough to grasp (think star wars episode IV). Gameplay was also well paced since it never felt rushed or too slow and tied in extremely well with the rest of it.
