Super fun, extremely chaotic and addicting gameplay that keeps you going for that one more dive to spread liberty.

Game shines when playing with a full group with comms on the higher difficulties but is perfectly playable with a smaller group or with strangers via matchmaking.

Friendly fire accidents are frequent in the chaos so have fun and don't take it too seriously.

Needs a bit of work with ironing out the occasional bugs and crashes, and some quality of life changes here and there, namely speeding up the process of getting in and out of missions.

Movement in this game is just pure fun, I don't think the trailers are doing it justice.
Soundtrack is banging all around.
Going for the best times in stages is a blast.
Story is pretty much just fluff but some of the side stuff is funny.
Really scratches something in the brain to make the feel good juices flow.

The game was fun and definitely had potential, right up and until chapter 4.

The chapter completely killed my interest in continuing the game because it all made it into one big, slow and tedious puzzle (this is an understatement) instead of an interesting escape room. This was made even worse by multiplayer where only one player could operate the contraptions at a time in hopes of eventually solving the puzzle. In short, the entire chapter 4 should be cut in my honest opinion.

There is some jank to the game but overall works fine and is a fun multiplayer experience. The only issue we encountered was when a player got disconnected and couldn't rejoin, but this was sorted by simply re-hosting. At times it does get a little bit pixel hunt-ey when looking for things you can interact with.

Overall a nice little game BUT I cannot in good faith recommend the game, solely based on how terrible of an experience chapter 4 was.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps somehow manages to improve on the already great first game.
Gameplay feels familiar yet fresh with the more fleshed out combat and new movement options. Provides a satisfying platforming experience, that can get a bit challenging at times, with a hint of puzzle solving. The soundtrack is absolutely beautiful the whole way through and really amplifies the story telling and events.
Would strongly recommend having played the first one before jumping into this one though.

Flashy combat, head scratcher puzzles, catchy music and great writing all in one package.

While the game starts off kinda slow, the game picks up quickly after the tutorials. You're thrown into this mmo-like game world where everything works as you'd expect, you do quests, kill monsters, gain xp and gold and upgrade your gear. All while progressing the story.

The main character is mute, well, almost, she can say a couple words, yet she manages to be extremely expressive and manages to have some very comedic interactions with the NPCs and players alike. Thankfully your friends turn out to be very talkative which leaves making remarks about the surroundings and events to them, to which the main character does respond to the best of her ability.

Combat is the real meat here, you're going to be grinding quite a bit for various quest items or just materials to upgrade your gear. The combat keeps getting more in depth and interesting the further into the game you go. From simple spinning aoe moves to 30 hit combo single target special attacks, mix in some blocks or dashes to avoid attacks and you can get some pretty flashy and great feeling combat going. Many enemies require some specific strategy to efficiently beat, but you can still force your way through almost anything that is not a boss fight.

The areas you explore are filled with what I call "parkour puzzles", in which you will find a chest, in an unreachable area of the map and you have to find the path to said chest, which can be something split across multiple map sections or just simply making a few jumps from a higher ground. This is where my only real complaint with the game comes from, it might be a personal issue or not, I do not know, but sometimes telling what is higher or lower than you, is extremely difficult. Thankfully you can use your projectiles to test heights before making the jump.
Besides that, the areas are nicely themed and enemy variation is decent enough to keep the game feeling fresh.
Dungeons feature more traditional puzzles, a lot of them, where you need to figure out the room to progress into the next.

I can't really speak about the story without spoiling something, but the story is definitely up there with it's twists and turns.
On a somewhat related note, the characters you meet and often befriend have their own personalities and having the party talk about whatever they encounter or just a random rock is often the most entertaining moment of exploring a new area.

All in all, a very satisfying game to play, sort of a puzzle overload can happen, simply because there are so many of them everywhere, in which cases I recommend taking breaks instead of forcing yourself onward and souring the experience.
On a scale I'd easily give it a 9 / 10.

Celeste is one of those games that will keep challenging you all the way through the journey while giving a very satisfying feeling for every success.

The gameplay and controls are simple yet very fluid and it feels good to tackle the levels at every point. The levels themselves are themed around unique mechanics and include optional challenge Strawberries for those who want that tiny bit of extra challenge every here and there. For the fans there are extra stages that are way harder than anything in the main levels.
The story and overall dialogue in the game is very enjoyable and the OST is amazing across the board.

Strongly recommended for anyone who likes more challenging platformers.
There is ALOT of content in the game if you want to do it all...
...and going through it all, will not be easy.

A Hat in Time does a fresh take on the old collectathon with fluid and intuitive controls, that make you feel right at home if you've ever played games like Mario 64 or Sunshine. The concept is simple with act based missions to actually progress in the game, while leaving you a ton of room to just roam and explore the maps for collectibles. Many of the missions are made in such a way that they change the gameplay aspects slightly, which gives you fun little variations.

If you're a fan of 3D plaftormers at all, I strongly recommend you to give this game a try. Even if you don't like the collectible hunting part, you can enjoy the game pretty thoroughly without much side tracking.

Pretty much every npc in the game is voiced, and it's a real pleasure to listen to them not only talk but also make tons of jokes and bad puns. The comedy is there, if you don't like the jokes from the get go however, you most likely won't enjoy them during the entire game, I personally had good laughs pretty often.

The game also has a really solid soundtrack overall.

Evolve is back with a major revamp, biggest of all being that it's 100% free to play.

The game has been changed to focus on having multiple, small and fast fights against the monster instead of playing constant hide and seek. The dome has been changed so that all hunters can use it, making the hunters not so heavily dependant on a good trapper. Overall the matches feel much better than previously. The only downside is that the stealthier monster players can't rely on sneaking as much as previously.

Unlocking stuff is done by spending silver keys which you earn by playing, leveling up, completing daily challenges, or reaching various milestones. The amount you get varies heavily on match to match basis, depending on if you leveled up, completed a challenge, etc. Unlocking a new hunter or monster takes anywhere from 5 to maybe 15 games. With the game length being anything from instant 2 minute deathmatches to 20 minute struggle, it feels very fair imo.

The hunters and the monsters have a wide variety of perks to slightly alter their gameplay, these are unlocked by leveling up specific characters, or by spending silver keys.

Overall, the game is very fun, the hunter gameplay is much more action heavy than it used to be.
Especially hunting with friends (or hunting your friends, why not) is a blast.
Happy hunting!

-If you are a founder, meaning you bought the game before free to play change, you keep all your owned characters, get some perks and skins, and a massive stack of 30 000 silver keys to unlock things with.-

You play as a samurai from far away land, who just happens to get in the middle of a political war and it is completely up to you what you want to pursue during your visit.
You are not forced to take part in any of the story elements if thats your choice, infact, right when you arrive, you can simply turn on your heels and leave the town. Alternatively you can choose to side with one of the various "factions" and help them achieve their goal, if you regret your choice, you are free to simply turn against them instead.

Various other elements are thrown into the mix with missions that either drive the town into chaos or help turn it into a more safe haven for the citizens. If none of that sounds like your thing, you can go around having sexy time with the town folk, gambling, running your own dojo or just causing havoc and eventually getting arrested and tortured.

At the end of each playthrough, be it by dying or finishing a story, your run will be evaluated and you'll gain samurai points based on your actions and how samurai-like your life was, which in turn you will be able to spend on various, mostly visual, unlocks for your next run.
In short, if you do end up liking the game, theres tons and tons more of fun to find, granted it might get a bit repetive but thankfully you can skip through all the dialogue you have already been through.

TL:DR
A very fun game, with a bunch of humor, open story for you to pursue as you wish and tons of replayability.

Do note that there are various crash issues that MIGHT affect you, I've only had some audio disortion myself, which was just fixed in a patch. Also the game runs at 30fps, if you can't deal with that, just close this page.
