A game where you are a gun wielding human missile, set to a DnB soundtrack. Pretty short but it's the type of game that's easily replayable & has workshop support if you can't get enough of the combat.

A game for people who remember booting up bot matches in old Battlefield games, also pretty cheap & will probably run most computers. While it does have multiplayer the community is pretty small but it does have cross platform play with every console. You'll usually have to roll back to a previous version due to the PC version getting frequent updates but it's as simple as going to the "Betas" tab in Steam & selecting "Cross-Play".

The game also has Steam Workshop support & a built in map editor akin to something like FarCry so if you're the creative type or just want more missions it's there.

You ever get so disappointed in port from 2004 that you basically decide to just remake it?

Driving a semi into a building to rescue hostages is something I wish I could say more often.

Originally the start of an episodic sequel to 1998's SiN and one of the earliest to try the episodic format, it only really broke even and is forever stuck at a cliffhanger. The game itself kinda feels like one of the last of its kind what with the secret areas, & interactable environments similar to Duke Nukem 3D & Max Payne, though Blade himself is mostly mute during the game in comparison to the original. It's also pretty short clocking about three or so hours to finish but offers a bit of replay value with self-adjusting difficulty that changes enemy spawns & certain encounters.

Also last I checked it comes with the original game as well, but you'll need a fan patch to add the original assets back.

Update Oct.-17-2024: No longer comes packaged with SiN (now sold as SiN: Gold) as of a few years ago but the original game comes with the expansion pack & the original assets restored.

There aren't enough action rpgs that let you suicide rush giant monsters, climb them, & start stabbing them like an angry tick.

A game where you spin aound a shape trying to avoid death if only to hear the rest of the soundtrack. It's kinda like an analogy for life... man this game is deep.

A fantastic 2D beat-em-up that's like a high speed rush on a freeway in the middle of a paintball gun shootout. Catchy music, great gameplay, & unlockables. Highly worth checking out.
