Honestly I'm very happy on the witcher 2, it has so many improvements from the first game. On the other the story ending seems extremely rushed, a 4th act would have made this from a great game to an instant classic.

The story continue to be amazing however the use of "ploughing" nagged me something awfull.
The Combat is by far the best of all 3 games, being challeging and so bloody rewarding that forced me to change style multiple times in the game in order to become just that little bit more effective which makes it even more rewarding when beating each challenge that geralt faces. The first and epsecially the third games don´t do this to nearly as great an effect imo.

The alchemy system is not nearly as good imo with potions and especially oil lasting way to short cause of a bloody upgrade tree, I will take my Aard, Igni and the Quen upgrades thank you.

Grachics are still extremely good even 4 years down the line however it seems that cd-red took of bit more than they could chew with quite the few grapichs glitches even in the "enhanced edition"
Which just leaves me with my biggest complaint! Since I don´t want to spoil the story I will just say the ending(s) feel super rushed and it´s just one gaint infodump that leads up to a gaint war that in the witcher 3 isn´t played up nearly as much making it super anti-climatic. Also as I said the game really could have gone with a 4th act as the games ending again feels aprupt.

Note: This game is quite a bit shorter than the witcher 1 and 3 as seen here:
Witcher 1: 50 hours (50% of sidequests)
Witcher 2: 30 hours (about 60-70% sidequests)
Witcher 3: 200 hours long if you do every little thing.
