Idk how a game this old runs like absolute garbage on a brand new laptop. This game CONSUMES resources, RAM especially for no reason imo. I'm so disappointed how much of a mess these games are allowed to be and we keep giving our money to these developers and publishers. STOP WASTING MONEY ON BAD PRODUCTS!!!!

Laptop is a 3 week old Dell, RTX 4060, 13th gen i7 13000 something, 16 gigs of DDR5 ram, Idk how tf this game manages to waste all of that hardware.

While the speedrun community is a bunch of snowflakes that gatekeep, the game itself is absolutely incredible. Visuals are perfection. I HIGHLY recommend a higher refresh rate monitor, things just feel so very fluid. The story is pretty wild and on par with the craziness of the Jet Set Radio franchise. The biggest downside or gripe I truly have is the tricking system. The mechanics themselves have nothing wrong with them and movement feels incredible, but the lack of extra tricks outside of 4 grounded tricks, 4 aerial tricks, and 4 rail tricks per each "stance" (Skateboard, Bike, Rollerblades, Walking) is a bit limited. I chalk it up to the logistics of capturing these types of moves via motion capture being really difficult. It would be better than perfect for an Indie title if each direction (W A S D) had a corresponding trick, like Shaun White Skateboarding or any Tony Hawk. Hell, even Backyard Skateboarding had more tricks. That is my single wishlist item. Just add more tricks. Regardless, this game needs to go down as something akin to Psychonauts.

I alt+f4 as a Deejay main. I have a fragile ego and really want to hurt my opponent physically. Ed is a terrible character and I hate that people like him at all.

Edit as of 9/8/24: I am giving a thumbs down on anything that does not run on windows 11. This tells me that I am going to have to browse countless forums and websites trying to find some sort of workaround or community patch. Fix this game immediately it is the best in the series as you messed up rivals so terribly...
