Satisfying game loop of growth and sales with free access to screw off after close/before open spending your time opening packs. A bit frustrating that initially the individual card sales table would cause reduced net shop sales if empty, but even if they haven't fixed this yet (They might have) you can simply box up the table when you don't have cards worth selling.

Plenty to be done to optimize and round it out, but I was happy with my purchase overall even at the game's current state.

Posting this based on the negative feedback from the community based on the recent PSN requirement.

This game is glitchy AF and wildly inconsistent at times. Play your hardest and smartest, and still sometimes you get crushed out of nowhere.

-Drop on a Titan with your pod and kill it? Well then, enjoy 40 seconds to a minute of living under its carapace.

-Drop too many Stratagem strikes on the drill objective console? Have fun desperately summoning in resupply/support Stratagems in a wild attempt to climb on top of them and be able to interact with the terminal again with the ground around it destroyed.

-Launch 8 missile strikes to clear the mission? Savor the minutes spent in the field doing nothing only to fail the mission because the waves stopped coming while the missiles only fire when a certain kill threshold has been reached.

-Play on Steam and don't have a PSN account? I beg you to revel in every passing screen as you capitulate and make a throwaway account. (This, unfortunately, does not apply to those countries where this is impossible. I hope my final point puts some perspective here.)

The irony is that while the last example is new, the last few aren't. (Though I do believe at least one of them has been fixed.)

All that said, this game is amazing in the current age of releases. The fluidity of the play experience is incredible. Load times are comparably low to almost any other mainstream game and the aesthetic of the landscape, gunfire, and explosions makes for a nearly unmatched cinematographic scenes.

To add:
-The Warbond system is meta breaking among recent titles. Battle Passes are terrible. Nobody wants to be PRESSURED into playing a game they bought voluntarily.
-On top of that, as soon as you own the game and log in you instate the status that ANY major mission directive
completed going forward by the global crew is awarded to you. That's so even if you fail to log on AT ALL during the
mission itself.
-I can hug my long distance friends that I can't IRL and it brings me a deep happiness.
-After 100 hours in the game, I still manage to run into new craziness with those friends I've never witnessed before.

SYNOPSIS: The game has a multitude of failings and glitches, but it truly goes beyond modern baselines for games in too many ways for me, personally, to hold those issues against the game and truly be a critic of them. If you like shooters and mayhem, I recommend.

FINAL POINT (Warning, controversial): The reality with PSN is unfortunate but something entirely out of control of the game devs. It truly appears to me that they thought they had this worked out and things could carry on, but after execution it came to light that PSN had to make the call to force their hand for security reasons. (I possess no skill set or education to make a judgement on that last bit.)
Could it be that they were warned ages back? Maybe. Could it be they were blindsided? Maybe. I do not know. What I know is I have enjoyed this game. The team behind it has been more forward and direct than most. I refuse to hate on it based on that and I hope that they can find a workaround for those in PSN-banned countries.

I would say peace, fellow residents of Super Earth, but it appears we still have more Managed Democracy to spread to the cosmos.

Its cute. That's it.

Grindy, no substance, glitchy AF.

I hit my wall when I installed a quarry and the game refused to let me use my pickaxe anymore. Tried reset, tried reboot, tried swapping back to keyboard. Game-breaking and frustrating.

Cheap game with mind-numbing monotony if you want only that. Don't recommend otherwise.

I cannot give this game a poor enough review. The design is generic medieval with added rifle and magic weapons. The combat is basic at best, but admittedly refreshing in a way because its free-form with no targeting. That last bit is about the only positive thing I can say.

There are just so many things wrong with it, this would have been impressive if it came out when World of Warcraft first released. In the current times, its like a PS1 game being treated as a new release on PS5. (And not one of the ones with a shred of good nostalgia) Shortlist: Game can fry your CPU for a graphical output laughable compared to modern games, constant bugs, a user interface that a high school computer club would be able to outdo, and a crafting system so pathetically basic its like the dev's have never played or seen an MMO in their lives.

It just reeks of laziness and poor work. Then again, if it comes from Amazon I can't imagine those poor souls feel any will to live, never mind make this game a success. 3/10

The game is buggy, I think that is universal.

I've climbed over a pipe and died instantly from environmental collision, not been able to loot valuable items because they glitched, had my crime level randomly trigger to nearly maxed out of nowhere and a variety of other things.

That said, its a fine game and I am enjoying it. It does not reflect the hype, but hype always skews reality.

Pros:
-Good dialogue
-Reminiscent of GTA crossed with Borderlands.
-Interesting atmosphere/world
-Generally solid and diverse combat mechanics, at least conceptually

Cons:
-The higher than average number of bugs for a full release
-Character customization not as diverse as/flexible as many recent games
-Most importantly, your character can walk around nude but there is no 3rd person mode to enjoy it

Summing that up: I think its a good game. If you aren't crazy to get into it definitely wait a bit for more bug fixes. If you are too passionate about getting into it, also wait because it will likely fail your high expectations.

Would not have expected this game was made in 2018. Maybe 2005.

Its like a C-Tier group of game designers got Studio G to work with them on a game.

Beautiful animation, holding up to what you would expect.

Interesting concepts behind how the game functions.

And absolutely Zero balance. Its like no one even tried playing this game before it was released.

If you do not care at all about actual gameplay, and you want to play a game for purely story content. It is okay, not bad but nothing incredibly special.

I had to play on expert to have ANY challenge and then its just completely unbalanced. Grind through hundreds of mobs to level up, all of which could 3 shot you at your level, just to have you party man-handled by an overpowered boss every 3rd boss encounter that has completely unreasonable move sets.

Lazy, lazy, lazy game design. The crew that worked on this should be ashamed of themselves for squandering the opportunity to make something great. The framework is entirely there. (In recent climates it could entirely be their management team rushing things, but still its a shame.)

EDIT: After forcing myself through to the end, I have to say just about everything above stayed consistent. If you have interest in this game because of Studio G then do yourself a favor and just watch a playthrough, skipping gameplay.

Absolute travesty of a GPU-hogging, repetitive, unimaginative waste of time. All of that would be forgivable due to the nature of the game genre if it was not so blatantly forcing PvP situations into the mix every 5 minutes that are dominated by people that paid money with 0 chance or balance for new players, or even players that gave it a shot longer than the initial ♥♥♥♥♥♥ grind.

You have to leave the game on constantly to actually progress and the '3D' crap you run into is literally the same 3 path designs skinned over each every 50 levels. If you want to play an idle game, pick literally anything else. 90% of games only offered in browser with Flash are still better and more satisfying. Pathetic.

Do not recommend, do not pass go, do not collect $200.

Welcome to a game so full of bugs it is physically sickening. If when the core game play worked, it made sense that would be one thing. It does not. Find yourself face-rolling through 90% of the game on the highest difficulty only to get pubstomped by single areas of completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanics. I would believe this game was released in 2005. Trash.

Know what to expect: An increasingly intricate reaction based side-scroller. There is not much more of a basic explanation I can break it down to than that. That being said I can't see myself getting tired of it any time soon. The new mechanics are introduced a good rate to keep you comfortable yet challenged and the mechanics are consistent. Great game, and if you can get it for 3 bucks on sale its almost foolish not to snag it.
