Early Access Review
I have a big heart for music and have always been interested in learning to DJ, though I've never gotten around to buying a controller since they're pretty expensive for something I didn't know how to use. But stumbling upon this title a few weeks after I had received my Index, I immediately thought that it was a must-try. And boy, I wasn't disappointed.

TribeXR is great. From my personal experience and what I hear from others, this game allows you to experience DJ'ing without buying actual DJ equipment. It has all the functionality you'd expect from an actual controller. It was so easy to jump right in and start mixing songs. Though I have to preface, the software will, of course, require you to get hold of the songs you want to play in some way, though it isn't much of a problem. If you already have many songs stored as MP3 or Wav files, it's just importing them and starting playing. If you don't, on the other hand, TribeXR has quite a lot of integrations with both Beatport Link and SoundCloud Go+ (which is what I'm using). Both integrations allow you to download and stream songs directly in TribeXR to play. You can also create playlists in both streaming services, which will show up in TribeXR for you to play.

I've only experienced a few issues with the game so far, but it has been minimal given that this, as of now, is still an early access title. TribeXR also has a great and very active discord server where the community and their managers are very willing to help with any issues or just questions in general. I even managed to find a problem with the Soundcloud Go+ integration at some point and then notified an admin/developer of it. And only a few days later, the problem was fixed in the latest alpha release.

The knobs and controls can be a bit fidgety at times since you're in VR and don't have the physical feel of the controls other than haptic feedback in your VR controllers. But you'll quickly get used to it, nevertheless.

So all-in-all, it's great. If you ever wanted to learn how to DJ and have a VR headset, this is without a doubt a title for you. I'm pretty excited to see what the future holds for this title.
