The GOOD:

Gameplay is 10/10

New stealth is amazing

They've nailed the "feel" of it

The graphics are a big improvement

The heists are much more "alive"

The UGLY:
Cash payouts are broken. Min bags (say, 2 bags) will give $580,000 whereas max bags (say, 10 bags) gives $585,000. To me Payday is about the balancing act of sticking out waves to get one. More. Bag. And probably throwing it all trying to do so. There is no reason to do this any more.

CONCLUSION:
After multiple patches and updates this game has finally reached the milestones I set in my previous review. I can now easily recommend this game to anyone who likes any of the previous payday games or likes what the store pages purports to offer.

Pros:
This game has truly captured the freedom of motion and sense of speed that I first felt with Spider-Man 2 for the PS2 in 2004.
The combat is intuitive and feels weighty, it is similar to the combat in the Batman Arkham games.
An original and compelling story.

Cons:
It is quite pricey. But before this you had to invest in a PS4/PS5 to experience this exclusive title, so that is worth taking into consideration too. IMO the price of the game for the Playstation was likely subsidised by the fact this game was a compelling Playstation exclusive that would incentivize players into the Playstation ecosystem where Sony gets a decent cut of all profits.

Overall:
I think this game is a must buy if you are a fan of Spider-Man/Peter Parker the character, if you are nostalgic about the classic web swinging games from the mid 2000's, if you love Arkham style combat or if you want to vote with your wallet when companies branch out into positive business practices via not only porting incredible console exclusives, but taking the time to do it well.

A roguelike gladiator style game that is easy to play but surprisingly hard to master. The challenges give a good depth to the progression. The voxel based damage system adds an enjoyable level of strategy and emersion that really sets it apart from games that instead have you repeatedly hit an implacable opponent until its health bar drops to zero. This feels like Jedi Academy with the realistic lightsaber cheats on but with skill replacing random attack spam.

It's the classic, now brought to steam. It has clearly had more work put into it over the years with the promise of ongoing support. I'm only a day or so in and already it has been worth the price for the nostalgia alone.

It's enjoyable as a nostalgia trip and it's good to see it getting regular updates again. A lot of the game after the first little bit is based purely on rng though, so keep that in mind.

Early Access Review
Do not buy this game expecting it to be finished in your life time. The game is buggy and broken, the company behind it no longer replies to any questions or tech support mailed to them. No updates have come out since 02 March 2016, 240+ days ago and they have not had any contact with the community since 3 Februrary 2016, 267+ days. Those were following other, almost eqully long silences. This is the end.

Following commentary about the developers you will shortly find that the game is beel almost if not entirely abandoned, with almost everybody who was a major part of the development process of this game having either moved on to other projects or been let go.

Games like this one are the bane of the early access program. They abuse it and their behaviour around this game in particular is disgusting. The conecpt looks great but do NOT buy this game.

I bought Trials Fusion when it came on sale a week after I first tried my first Trials game (Trials Evolution Gold). It was a pleasant upgrade in graphics and gameplay and I am quite in love with this game. It has a range of levels across many beautiful vistas. I enjoy the skill games that throw some extra spice into the regular levels. The difficulty of those levels scales nicely from pretty easy (even for someone who is not particularly familiar with this style of game) all the way up to the excruciatingly difficult and playing with mates is better than it ever was. Hitting those jumps perfectly can be amazingly satisfying.

A+, I love this game, buy it now.

Pros:
1. Hundreds of free tracks online
2. A range of difficulties to suit everybody
3. Online and local multiplayer (I am talking split screen!)
4. In game track builder
5. Character/Bike customization and unlockables
6. Sweet sweet Trials game play
7. Best Trials graphics to date

Cons:
1. None come to mind, BUY THIS GAME

This game isn't worth getting yet, and from the state that development is in, it is doubtful it ever will be. Don't buy this game yet, wait and see if it actually becomes something worth playing.
